We placed an order around 7 pm they stated order will take about 1hr for delivery soon after I receive a call and they mention they have ran out of pasta containers and they were now sending someone to buy some they said it will be a bit longer for them to deliver an hour passed I call them to check status on order they then stated it will be 30 more minutes to get it delivered so yes now I’m complaining about this long wait they decided to refund the money and still deliver the order so -another hour passes it is now 930 I call to follow up on order they now said my order has been cancelled and refunded after I was told they will still deliver the order so I leave my name and number for manager to call me back “ Rachel “ no call what so ever it is now 10:30 and I pull up directly to the location to get my order we stand there for at least 10 min without been acknowledged from any employee then finally one employees comes I say my name and told her I called about an hour ago and the manager has not called can I speak to your manager she goes directly to her and she tells her I don’t have time right now I asked to speak to another manager and they say no other manager is available but her so I do tell her has my order even been started manager straight up ignoring anything we are saying then cashier threatened on calling police and getting banned from ordering from there location the cashier then got the paper she had written my name on and number to have the District manager call she Then rips the paper and tell me to get out as I’m walking out the Manager Rachel from the back tells you have a good night now no need for that she didn’t have the time to come and speak directly to me but she did have the time tell from the back counter that’s honestly poor customer service ! Messing up your order.
I’m not sure if it come from being under staffed by ownership, or just a general lack of reading comprehension and ability to execute a menial task by some of the employees.
Regardless, here is the play-by-play of my recent carry-out order, cliff notes version.
App notified me en route that my order was ready to be picked up. Approx 5 min from store. Arrived at store, walked in… zero acknowledgement from staff, I was the only customer present. Could see my order coming through the oven, clearly not ready, still no acknowledgement. Random guy walks in, starts barking at staff that he thinks his order is my order, he wasn’t very intelligent, clearly, and caused staff to become confused. While staff was boxing order I could see there were errors, still haven’t been acknowledged. Finally, name is called for order, staff was still confused by previous gentleman. Staff dropped order at counter and left before I could tell them my order was wrong, almost had to yell to get someone to come back to counter. Staff member retrieved manager, she seemed burnt out, offered very little by way of making it right. Phone rang for entire 10-15 minutes I waited there with out any single intention by anyone to answer it.
I’m not sure what’s going on here but customer service and ability to execute/maintain standards is severely lacking.
The low IQ gentleman’s order still said ‘in prep’ on the order tracker by the end of my ordeal, for those readers who...
Read moreDuring this hard economic and mentally taxing time the workers here went above and beyond by leaps and bounds. I haven’t had this great of service or help in years from anyone in the customer service work area. I ordered online and went to pick up my food. One of the pizzas happened to be wrong which is something that can happen to anyone. I just told them what I had ordered and said it was alright I can wait. To which the manager insisted on instead upgrading me to a large and saying I could have a free drink as well for the wait. I waited maybe 20 minutes, and got an upgraded order with some free dipping sauce as well as a free two liter. Even during all the hectic times it’s nice to know that places like this exist. Any time I’m in town I’ll only be ordering from this Domino’s from now on because honestly I feel like I owe it to those workers for being so nice and courteous. Especially during these trying times where the “essential” workers have to work longer hours and under way more pressure than normal. Maybe they’ll forget me between the thousands of faces a week they’ll see, but I won’t soon forget the kindness they showed and hopefully this review just might help that little store out with getting all the...
