I am writing about our visit to the store at 541 W Capitol Expy, San Jose, CA 95136 on April 17th to get a cake for my son's 21st birthday. We were asked to leave the store because we did not have any face mask on. It was an embarrassing, frustrating, and uncalled for treatment of a customer, let alone a regular one. I do not see any such requirement on your website or receive any advanced notification about it. Also, there was no statewide mandate as claimed by the store employee. Besides, if this rule was imposed suddenly, the company could have come up with an alternative solution such as providing masks, offering an online ordering service, or offering customers a way to order in store green a menu.
