I originally had EggHead at its original location in Cupertino. It was definitely a 5 out of 5 sandwich and experience. I was super excited that they were opening one up on Capitol since I live right across the street, and had talked it up a lot to my fiancé who had never tried it.

We headed here for breakfast one morning and my God… I didn’t make it past two bites. You know when you bite into the chicken and the meat essentially slides off the fried breading? That’s what happened. The chicken meat quality overall was terrible. It looked like chicken thigh or something, as it was dark meat as well.

This is definitely not how I remembered my first experience at the Cupertino location. I remember the chicken being fried to perfection, with a soft all white meat.

My fiancé didn’t had the same experience. Chicken was honestly disgusting. Ended up taking the chicken out and just ate the bread with the cheese and eggs. We also got the the tater tots and the cashier told us they’re seasoned… wrong. They weren’t. Just plain. That’s fine and wasn’t a big deal. But would be cool if you provided accurate information.

I also ordered an ice coffee and they completely had forgotten about it. I walked back in and asked for it and they started making it. I walked back outside as they made it and after they finished, they didn’t have the audacity to simply bring it out to me as a courtesy. They just left it there on the counter. They weren’t that busy and had plenty of employees just standing around. Anyways, again that’s not a huge deal - just bad service.

I came here for a chicken breakfast sandwich and was let down. Never going back here again. Btw the Cupertino location closed down. So I guess it was a one and done...

Super cute shop and the food is scrumptious! I consider it a special weekend brunch treat. I'm obsessed with the matcha coffee latte, it's good hot or cold. Love it with oat milk. Wish I could buy a gallon of it.

The Chic is a BIG sandwich, so I recommend sharing it unless you have a huge appetite. The chicken is breaded similarly to boba shop popcorn chicken, except it's one huge piece. I can't open my mouth wide enough to bite it, so consider grabbing a fork and knife!

The Scramble is also big and quite filling. It's a textural delight for those who like tender, creamy eggs (me!!). Order something else if you prefer your eggs (over)cooked. The mayo gives it just the right amount of spice too. The sweetness of the bread is essential to the overall flavor. I think this will be my go-to, but I'd like to try a couple other menu items first.

The waffle fries aren't specially seasoned or anything, but they have some nice extra crisp on them. With drinks and sides, it's easy to spend over $20 per person. However, if you think the food is pricey, consider that each item is very much shareable, especially if you have fries/tots, and that cuts all the prices in half! ;)

Good customer service as well. I accidentally took someone else's to-go order (didn't realize till I got home) and they were very gracious about fixing my mistake. I could see a ton of DoorDash/UberEats/etc orders coming in, in addition to the cafe being full (there isn't a ton of seating, but still), and they were staffed to serve efficiently, which...

Oh, let me tell you 'bout a sandwich so fine, A feast for your taste buds, a true delight to dine. At Egghead Sando Cafe, a place oh so grand, I discovered a treasure that was truly unplanned.

"The Chic" is its name, a fried chicken wonder, Nestled in a brioche bun, a treat to ponder. Crispy chicken, golden brown, cooked just right, With arugula's bite, it's a flavor-filled fight.

But that's not all, my friend, oh no, there's more, A medium boiled egg, nestled and adored. Creamy and luscious, adding richness supreme, Each bite like a dream, a foodie's fondest theme.

Drizzled with sauce, a secret recipe so divine, The flavors dance together, in harmony they align. A symphony of tastes, a melody of pleasure, "The Chic" will leave you longing for another measure.

So heed my words, my dear, and make haste, Visit Egghead Sando Cafe, don't let it go to waste. Indulge in "The Chic," a sandwich like no other, A culinary adventure, a feast for a sister or brother.

In the style of Dr. Seuss, I do declare, "The Chic" is a gem, a sandwich beyond compare. So venture forth, my friend, and give it a try, Let your taste buds fly, reach for the sky!

Yes, highly recommend the sandwich. Delicious and a very generous size for the price. Two people could...

I love a good egg sandwich for breakfast (I mean who doesn't??) so I was very excited to try this place out. It's on a corner in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. When you walk in there's only a few small tables to sit at. And while there is a counter and staff behind it, you order at a kiosk. No one acknowledged our presence. It's just not my favorite way to order food.... I went with the classic egg and cheese which was $12. It fell overpriced but I was already there and hungry so I put my order in. I also got a matcha coffee latte. So all in I was at over $20 for what felt like a fast food breakfast. They do a ton of takeout orders so you're going to have to wait some. Oddly enough my friend who ordered a much more complicated chicken sandwich got his food faster than me. At this point I was starving. So the food was good. I did feel like it lacked salt and pepper. I could have gone for more chives. But it's pretty hard to mess up eggs and cheese on a brioche bun. So yes it was delicious and I ate it all. But was it worth $12? Probably not. Will I go back? Probably not.
