Tastea Communications Hill — Restaurant in San Jose

Not to my taste. The stars are for customer service. But the food and drinks are not good here. At least for me. I cannot recommend. It advertises fresh fruit tea as healthy but their drinks are way too sweet, loaded with sugar, even for 25% sweet level. All snacks we ordered (chicken and fried) were way too salty. It's salty to the level that make my tongue curve, and even the kids refused to eat because too salty. When I brought back my chicken and told them about it, they were nice to make us another one. And even when I said please no salt on my chicken this time, it was still very salty, but a bit better I have to say. I think that's because they already marinaded the chicken with too much salt. So there is no way to fix it no matter what. I wonder they sell salty snack so people will buy more drink? And the sweet drink make people to crave for more salty snack ? ... I really hope this isn't their business strategy, because it causes many customers...

I couldn't tell you about the drinks because they only accept card as a form of payment and all I had was cash on me. It doesn't say that in front of the establishment. I was disappointed because I had already mentally prepared myself for having a taro milk tea. I suggested they put a sign on the door if they don't want people leaving their spot with disappointment. Also I asked what was in the drink and its alot of powder...which is fine for milk tea/ boba beginners..but if you are a milktea enthusiast, Ten Ren Tea Time is legit! Especially for u taro lovers...its 10:48pm and im still wishing I had a taro milk tea. Would've been helpful with a sign at...

Got there at 9:00 to order popcorn chicken, and the darkskin girl with spider looking lashes, told me the kitchen was closed and was mad rude the whole time I was ordering, meanwhile i was being polite saying thank you and please, she continues to rolls her eyes at me. Last time i came, the kitchen closed at 9:30. i was there 30 minutes before the kitchen closed, and she was sooo lazy to not make my order. kudos to the Asian girl working with her though, right after i ordered my drink, she made it asap and even smiled at me. she definitely needs to learn something from...
