The wife and I are always up for a good breakfast. Bill's has a good reputation so we decided to give it a try. We started out trying to go to the Bill's on Cottle but there was a 40 minute wait. So we tried the Willow Glen location. There were a bunch of people waiting outside just like at the Cottle spot so we thought we wouldn't be able to get in here either but when I went up to the hostess stand I was told they could seat us right then. So I guess we got lucky.
Let me tell you that if you are looking for a nice quiet spot to have a little breakfast, then Bill's is not for you. Don't come to Bill's to try and get a bite to eat and do some studying. The place was absolutely packed and very loud. Also there were 3 different groups that were celebrating a birthday and when they sing happy birthday to you at Bill's they bring along a drum that is enthusiastically banged as they walk up to the table. But if you are OK with a loud, lively eating establishment and like simple, quality food then you will like Bill's
I decided to go with the make your own omelette since no omelette seems to be made exactly how I want it. You get to choose 5 items so I went with Bacon, Onions, Bell Peppers, Tomatoes and Cheddar Cheese. Pretty much the perfect omelette. The wife chose the Bread Pudding French Toast.
First off the food arrived lightning fast. I'd say about 5-10 minutes after we ordered. The French Toast was a bit sweet but very tasty. My omelette was also very good but it should have been because I got to choose what was in it. Our waiter was very friendly and very attentive. I never had to worry about my water or iced tea glass going empty.
We will definitely return to Bill's next time we want a...
Read moreBill's Cafe is easily one of my favorite brunch places to eat at. Despite having several locations, the quality does not suffer. Between the two locations I've been to, I definitely prefer this one over the other (by a small margin) since we're always seated right away at this location.
Food & Drinks: Crab cake benedict: Deliciously soft crab cakes, under poached eggs with the runny yolks.. on top of english muffin, covered by a nice layer of hollandaise sauce. Perfect brunch menu item to default to. Comes with perfectly cooked hash browns!
Breakfast burrito: Prefer the eggs benedict selections (I'm biased though.. sorta.. addicted to eggs benedicts :p), HOWEVER, this menu item is still super yummy. Fluffy eggs with melted cheese, peppers, wrapped around with a semi-thick tortilla. Cut in half for you, and comes with a side of hash browns as well!
French Toast: Seriously. the. best. french. toast. EVER. If you're craving french toast at all. Do not hesitate. Thank me later. Fluffy, thick pieces of toast. Topped with powdered sugar, but not excessively so not too sweet/overpowering. Comes with warm maple syrup + butter for extra flavor. Mix all three together = amazing.
Bill's Famous Mimosa: Known for its rather sizeable cup, I think.. While still yummy for a mimosa, I can't say it's the best I've had. In fact, I find these pretty watered down.. Not the worst, but I guess I was expecting a bit more from the name!
Bloody Mary: My guy loves bloody mary drinks, this one did not disappoint. He even craves it Sunday mornings after a Saturday night out. Powerful flavor +...

This place definitely gets packed so beware of the wait times. I recommend people to put their name down at Bill's and than go across the street to "The Table". That way if one place is taking longer than the other, you have a back up. Bill has a speaker system that you can here names being called out from across the street too, but generally people hurdle around the parking lots around Bills.
Parking here is tricky since the parking lot tends to fill up pretty quickly. The parking lot next to Bill's also says 1 hour limit, but I have never seen any tow trucks tow a car away. Most people who park in that lot come here for Bills. Anyways, if you just turn onto the residential street, there is usually plenty of street parking there. Just remember to always read the signs for any notices etc.
I came here for Sunday and waited roughly 20 minutes for a table to open up. Service and employees here are very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Parisienne French Toast and that was a lot of food! I was more than happy with the portions here, so that's a big plus! It came with a french toast croissant, a side of eggs and meat (bacon or sausage etc).
I would say Bill's breakfast menu offers more variety as well as the classics. I'd come here again just because the prices and portions are quite fair. The table across the street is a tad more expensive in my opinion. I had to knock one star off because one of the waiters was trying to refill everyone's water cup but accidentally drenched our food on the table with...
