Blossom Hill Fast Pizza — Restaurant in San Jose

I called tonight trying to order the same order I always order it’s a little over $20 with tax and tip I usually pay just a little $30. I just tried to order and the man that answered had a thick accent. That’s not a problem I could understand him. The problem is that he doesn’t seem to understand me. He kept telling me about the $48 special that would run me well over $50 when done for more than what I wanted. I kept telling him I just wanted my normal order. I told him I did not want that as it was not what I was looking to buy. I didn’t want to insult him by asking for someone who speaks English as I know that people say that to be insulting but he kept saying he didn’t understand me. After ten minutes I asked him for someone who could understand English so I could explain. He still didn’t understand what I was saying. I tried for a few more minutes with no luck. I finally asked for a manager and he told me there wasn’t one. So he seems to understand that. I tried for another minute or two and eventually gave up. The man on the phone said he just didn’t understand. It was extremely frustrating and what was more frustrating is that I have been ordering from here for year and the owner is usually there and usually answers the phone. He also seems to really care about his customers and their experience. I’m thinking he may have sold it to someone else. That’s unfortunate because I really love this...

Not sure if this place was sold off and they got a new owner, or we got the less experienced staff, but I ordered a large Chicken with Vegetables yesterday that turned out to be inedible. Whoever put it together must have spilled the lemon pepper on it as the pizza was too salty to eat. Normally this was my go-to place for pizza, but the last couple times I've gone it just hasn't been the same. Yesterday finally convinced me to stop going here and finding a new spot. It's a shame, I live over 40 mins away and still drove here because it was that good. Sad to see the quality has dropped so much.

Additionally, I don't know if this matters to anyone else but I didn't see a single person preparing the pizzas wearing a hair-net (despite having medium to long hair).

This is by far the best pizza place in the bay! If I could I would give them 6 stars! Prices are good, delivery is always quick and the food is awesome!

The have the largest selection of toppings from chorizo, siracha sausage(which is excellent), beef, Buffalo chicken, pineapple, artichoke hearts, jalapenos & more. And they aren't stingy with their toppings they will load your pizza up! Sometimes their pizzas are so pretty it's almost a crime to eat it.... They have at least 6 different sauces too choose from(the BBQ is one of my favorites). The side dishes are a must especially the tequila lime chicken wings along with their garlic cheese bread and for $2.50 you can get a huge slice of chocolate mousse...
