We live in the area and want to support local Family-owned businesses. We thought we would go to My Kitchen. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very friendly. Good start, but service went downhill immediately. We were excited to order a mimosa and tea , which never arrived. Very confusing because the waitress was very friendly and attentive. We received our breakfast, but everything was cold. Everthing !!......we did not want to complain, .The waitress said it was sitting on the counter because they were busy. We did not want to have the breakfast thrown out And requested to have it microwaved . When she brought the breakfast back .we still had no drinks . And no toast that was on the dish menu..It was a fiasco. !!!!!!!By the time we finished our meal. The waitress finally realized we had no drinks. Never-mind our toast. She said that they would give us better service next time ...and apologized. We personally say a big NO THANKS & NEVER NEVER ' RETURNING!!!!!!!! They never did anything to compensate our order. Although The waitresses was nice and apologetic. We paid full price for our meal ,and tipped the waitress accordingly, because we , as a customer WANTED TO FOLLOW UP ON OUR END AND DO THE THE RIGHT thing. Just an addition . The restaurant appeared be clean, thd seats were old and ripped and' Very very Noisy with a blaring TV screen and separate music playing at the same time. Definitely Not an ideal ambiance experience restaurant to go out for a meal,... .. ESPECIALLY through these difficult times' when many of us want to get out of the home and enjoy a nice outing and meal. For now, we will search for new local restaurants and others out there.... even if we have to go...

The worse breakfast I have ever had. Not to mention the over priced menu for less quality food. I was not happy after paying $60 for 5 orders of Biscuit's and. Gravy combos for me and my family last Thursday. When I got home to feed everyone I had no utensils or napkins to hand out. Then I give everyone a tray each and reveal what looked to me as an abortion of a hospital issued meal. The food was bland at best . The cook had burnt eggs on each tray almond with under cooked soggy hash browns and under cooked grocery store style biscuit's. You know" the kind in those rolls" which I happened to like until this place ruined it for me. And the gravy that was out of a generic brand bag. But what was worse than that was when I had to go to my kitchen drawers and look for condiments from previous restraints I visited. What a turnoff to seal the deal. Don't go to this place. Its the let down you don't want to experience. Ill take this one...

This place SEEMS to have good food. Usually good service but God help you if they are working on a Waiter for com order when you walk in. My suggestion would be you walk right back out at that point. Live customers will be made to wait while they work on those 40+ orders. I've been waiting over 30 minutes for ONE breakfast order which they said they were working on when I came in. 20 minutes later I ask How much longer it will be, I am told that they don't even know what they're supposed to be making and could I tell them what the order was again. One of the women working was extremely rude to me that I was not pleased to be waiting 30 minutes after driving 8 minutes to get to their restaurant. When one place of mobile order, the expectation is that the food will either be ready when you get there or shortly after you arrive. Not that they will start making it 20 minutes into your weight...

This place is the best--Scramblez level food but with way more options and they don't skimp on the avocado. Waitress is very nice and talkative. It's also a smaller place and costs a little less than Scramblez so it's usually less loud--but beware of coming on a busy day like Saturday with no reservation. All tables are booths or bar seats and accommodate 4 or 5 people, but they will sit you at two booths next to each other and remove the divider if you have 8ish people. Food is delicious and they will substitute lots of stuff which is great for vegetarians (Dennys won't even give you a fruit cup instead of bacon). I also think this diner has soymilk. In summary: cutest little diner tucked away in a strip mall that gives you what you want.

Sometimes I want to have breakfast at Lunchtime. They close at 2 pm. So, they specialize on the breakfast menu. But they also have a good lunch menu too. I decided to try out My-Kitchen in South San Jose on Blossom Hill and Snell. Closest freeway is HGWY 85. This used to be a different restaurant. I forgot the name of it. But the new place is very nice and clean. New paint job and remodeled. They got rid of the old smelly carpet, and they got some new lights in there too. The food was perfect. I got the Country Omelette with pancakes and hashbrowns and a cup of coffee. The waiter was professional and informative. He kept my coffee refilled and was quick on the orders. I will be back and share with all the NINER Gang in San Jose.

Super “Down home dinner” vibes. The atmosphere of a simple and small dinner, the old school tunes and the staff taking your order was the perfect combination of nostalgia for a time I never actually lived through. The food was spectacular as well. As simple as the “dinner style” dishes where they did not skimp on good ingredients and good presentation. It was very filling, without being excessive like Black Bear dinner. It’s like a greasy spoon, if the spoon was also clean and better proportioned.
