Devine Cheese & Wine — Restaurant in San Jose

This is one of my favorite places EVER! If you like wine and cheese, you clearly belong here. However, they also have beer and a cocktail selection and other amazing food options. Nonetheless, the wine is amazing. They have crisp Sauvignon Blancs; buttery Chardonnays; rich, deep Cabernets; bubbly champagne, and so much more. The cheesemonger option on the menu is by far the best choice. You can say what cheese you do not like, and they curate an AMAZING platter. They also have its own accoutrement for each cheese. You would think "cookie butter with cheese??" Then you eat it together, and it's perfect on the crostinis they provide. Simply put, it is like that cute, animated movie, Ratatouille - when he combines the cheese with the strawberry. You close your eyes and taste both flavors in harmony. The scallops are the absolute BEST I have ever ate and the gnocchi is to die for!! I will come here as long as they are open. I honestly wish their hours were longer! But they do not rush you out, which is very nice. They also have very cute events coming up: wine and paint, and cheese tasting. Get on their mailing list! I discovered this locally-owned wine and cheese shop in June and since then have ordered 100+ wine + cheese boxes for various virtual team-building and networking events. Liana and her team are truly passionate about wine and CHEESE (yes!), and about delivering a truly personable and professional experience for customers - no matter how big or small a transaction or purchase. We have since then had many people inquire about her and have referred professional colleagues and friends to Devine Cheese and Wine for their team events. I also got the chance to visit the shop while in San Jose and had a lovely time getting to know her and sampling some of their delicious cheese and wine items from the menu.

I really love Devine Cheese and Wine. I have taken a couple of their cheese classes and they were amazing. Not only do you get a great portion of all sorts of cheeses, but they have wonderful knowledge and a wide variety. I love that they send it with some little food pairings and wine or beer pairings. We have eaten dinner there twice (once as a large party and once with a couple of friends) and had brunch once and all were so excellent. I love that there is enough versatility on the menu that my parents loved it as much as my 7 year old nephew. It is one of those places you can go to with a friend, family or on a date.
