Nestled within an Asian shopping center, surrounded by approximately four other boba establishments, Happy Lemon remains my unequivocal choice above all the rest.

Their offering of black tea with salted cheese strikes a resemblance to Gong Cha's black tea with salted cream, yet I find Happy Lemon's cheese flavor to be exceptionally delightful. Another standout is their matcha latte with tiramisu salted cheese – an absolute delight! The distinct taste of tiramisu within the salted cheese complements the matcha flawlessly. During my last visit, my boyfriend opted for the chocolate with puff cream in lieu of salted cream, and the result was nothing short of remarkable. The waitress was disrespectful to the clients and treated different clients in different ways. We purchased two cups of tea today. When we tried to order, no one came to assist us, and we waited around 5 minutes before we could place our order. After the order was ready, the waitress didn’t inform us. She could see that we had been standing there waiting for a long time, yet she ignored us and didn’t tell us our order was ready. In contrast, she placed a white man’s (who came after us) cup on the tray and put the tray in front of him. After that, we asked her, and she told us that our orders were ready. I think the drinks here at this location are consistently stellar, and there is always a gentleman that works there who is kind and polite! Today however, we went in and were greeted by two ladies, one with a cream claw clip and the other with a grey claw clip. The lady wearing the grey claw clip seemed to have a very sour attitude, making a face as she took customer orders. Then, when our drinks came out, she waved us down condescendingly instead of announcing the orders like the rest of the baristas.
