Safety doesn’t seem to be a priority. Five days ago my husband and I attended an event at SAP and were threatened to be kicked out by an usher. Keep in mind we had already been cursed at loudly by drunk individuals seated behind us. We never said a word to them. But they continued to laugh so loudly nobody around us could hear. They also took a phone call during the show. But the usher in our section didn’t want to listen to anything around him but the show. Which we missed over half of, we eventually get moved by guest services after I have to ask why we’d be removed by our usher for doing nothing. Oh and I’d like to add they apparently let the individuals stay. Guests who were harassed had to question leaving. But guests who were cursing and causing a scene could stay apparently.

The venue called today to “apologize” which consisted of blaming the De Escalation team. Which nobody from that team talked to us during our event. Along with your team should know who handled us that night? The team should know. They said sorry and that they’d do better. So I’m guessing someone from customer service briefly read my email talking about how mine and my husband’s safety was compromised during their event and if this staff member isn’t retained someone will get hurt since he doesn’t know how to handle over served guests. Cause clearly nobody actually looked into much of the issue in the five days it took to call us. The issue was never taken seriously. So consider yourself warned if you buy tickets for a show you can possibly waste your money if your report safety issues to their staff apparently. Do better team teal, do better
