L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in San Jose

I don't usually give out negative reviews for service but I had too... The ordering experience was BAD. Aside from the food, we ordered through the phone and they told us our order will be ready in 15 mins. We went 40 mins after ordering and they said we have to wait still... They kept saying the fried food takes longer but all we ordered was bbq beef. We had to wait in line with 6 people and we were on the clock. If you won't let people place order through the phone just say so up front, don't pretend you are making the food and waste everybody's time later on. The BBQ beef we ordered was also dry and not very flavorful. The two stars go to their macroni salad and nothing else. Never going back again. Just be honest about your business and don't lie to customers. Our time...

My son took me to this one because usually I love this place, so I order the sea food plater and I got my plate the fish was so thin I really did not think it was fish I really thought it was chicken, and then my son asked if he could get steak instead of the chicken and the guys told him no, and then charged him 10.00 for 1 piece of meat that crazy this place is to much. NO MORE FOR ME ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY NOW.

I can't recommend this place. The food just isn't that great and the lack of customers proves it.

As soon as you walk in, it'll feel unsanitary and cold.

I've been here twice during prime dinner time and this place was empty. You'll just be standing in front of the cashier looking at the wall behind her to figure out what to order.

I've tried their musubi and it was nothing special. Just a fatty piece of meat with sauce drenched over it. I couldn't eat it with my hands so I looked around the store for utencils...
