Pekoe — Restaurant in San Jose

Prefacing this by saying I’m sure every other drink is good, my favorites are thai tea whitie and literally anything else, this is a review based on the price, and a horrible drink.

But my god, PLEASE DO NOT get the matcha from here. I came here when it was not busy and my drink was made very quickly, however the matcha powder was BARELY MIXED, you could see the chunks, and left a chalky taste in my mouth. I don’t even think if it were stirred correctly it would be any better. I just don’t understand why the drink couldn’t have been mixed correctly if there was one person besides me in the store.

The flavor is not strong and it was just not good. Worst of all it was $9.24… All I added was egg pudding.. You’re better off literally anywhere else. Drive a little more North to Heytea to get GOOD matcha...

Love their drinks, but their service is horrible! The workers just sit in the back on their phone behind the curtain when you walk in nobody acknowledges you No manager on site ever. I call to complain (it took me about 20 calls for them to answer) they say the manager never visits the store! Says a lot haha! They canceled my order and said refunded but never did I had to dispute the charges with my bank after waiting a week for a refund! I gave them another chance today and ordered a pekoe special (my fav) and it was so bad. Watered down, bitter and boba taste uncooked. Maybe a new person today, tried to call and ask for refund but THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! Manager needs to get this...

Pekoe is another one of my favorite Boba spot in the Bay Area. This one is Located right off of Lundy next to King Egg Roll. I often stop by this place at least two to three times a week! That is because it is about less than Ten minutes away from me. Their Menu is Simple. The Services are pretty quick. That is why I'm here Just in And Out Happy! So far I enjoyed my Strawberry Milk Tea (pretty in pink), Honey Dew, Jamine Green, TMT (Taro MilkbTea) Boba with Grass Jelly, Pekoe Special, Manly Melon, Kawaii, the Raspberry Baret, and the Pomstar. Yummy! Overall this place only sell Milk Teas, Fresh Fruit Teas, or Smoothies. I recommend trying...
