Friendly and nice waitress and the food was exceptionally good. They leave utensils and napkins at table. If you need assistance, please waive for help, waitresses are quick and helpful. I don’t particularly like waitress hovering around when I’m trying to eat and the waitress are great with this. I come here often for dinner after my flight and their food will nurture my soul quick and fast. Atmosphere: ambient with low fi music, friendly vibe.
Food: I recommended their combo meals (rice, caramelized swai fish, and sweet and sour soup-cơm cá kho tộ và canh chua). Their snails and oyster options are good as well. I tried the hot and sour hot pot, not really my jam, it’s Miền Tây style. Food comes out hot and fast.
Parking: spacious, plenty to share around, and disability friendly with spacious parking and spacious one stall restroom per gender.
Family friendly: they have high chair and warm water to heat up milk, plenty of space to organized table to fit your party.
Cons: like most Asian restaurant, they will waive service fee from your bills if you pay cash. Service fee isn’t...
Read moreWe were craving for oysters and snails so we came to Nem restaurant this Saturday 05/12/24. We ordered six flavors oysters and golden sauce whelks. The oyster were so fresh and flavorful and they were among my favorite items at Ném Restaurant. We also liked the seafood bird nest in crispy yellow egg noodles and seafood fried rice. The seafood fried rice was delicious with combination of minced seafood and the fried rice was just right with a taste of crunchy and flavorful. We also ordered frog leg with butter sauce and it was so crunchy, tasty with butter sauce. Overall, we really enjoyed most items that we ordered from Nem restaurant. The restaurant is hidden away from all the crowded and major food eatery locations and it can be intimidating to walk in without seeing a lot of foot traffic, but the flavors and freshness of the food cooking from Nem restaurant are what I can count on to eat here. I would definitely come back and try...
Read moreNém Restaurant delivers bold flavors and fast service, but diners should be cautious with spice levels—some dishes pack unexpected heat that can trigger stomach discomfort if you're sensitive. The grilled nem and dipping sauces are standouts, but menu labeling could be clearer, especially for spice and dietary restrictions. Staff are friendly and responsive, though the space feels tight during peak hours.
Vegetarian options are limited and mostly side-based, so plant-based diners may feel boxed in. The small on-site lot fills quickly, and most rely on street parking or nearby public lots—none officially tied to the restaurant. Accessibility is mixed: entry is flat, but the interior layout may challenge wheelchair users due to narrow spacing.
Overall, Ném is a solid choice for a casual meal with friends, especially if you’re familiar with Vietnamese flavors and can handle the heat. Just plan ahead for parking and ask questions if you have...
