Ruined my son's birthday party. I placed an order for 5 pizzas for delivery to a birthday party at 10:54am for delivery at 11:45am. The location was to the address of Rockin Jump San Jose, and I added notes including the name of the location and the name and number of the party inside where it should be delivered. By 12:00 the pizza still had not arrived. I called and the person I spoke to spoke very quickly and confusingly, saying he didn't know the location the order was supposed to go to. After awhile I determined that they had delivered the pizza to the wrong location. The person I spoke to admitted this immediately and said something about his brother delivering the pizza to the "a building" where he had left them by a door that had just closed and wouldn't open. He would not tell me where this location was. He promised that the pizzas were being re-made and would be delivered in 15 minutes (the location was 5 minutes away). He wouldn't stop to listen to the correct address to deliver the pizzas despite my asking multiple times where they were being delivered. 12:15 the pizzas still were not there. I called again and was told the driver was out with the pizzas, still would not confirm the correct address, not to where this second batch was going nor to where the first had been sent. I asked for the delivery driver's phone number and was told my number would be given to him and he would call me. No one ever called, not once, throughout this to check on this order. They claimed multiple times that they had "tried" to call me; I received no calls and was lied to each of the three times that I called to check on the order. The pizzas arrived at 12:45, 1hr late and after the venue for our party had closed (we had a birthday party at Rockin Jump from 10:45 to 12:45). This is absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in over a decade as a Mountain Mike's customer (mostly the Sunnyvale and Palo Alto locations). I had 20 adults and 12 children including my son whose birthday it was who had no lunch. At 4pm this afternoon I called to get a refund after this complete disaster, and was told they "didn't have access to the system" and I would need to call back at 5pm on Monday to speak with...
   Read moreBUYER BEWARE! Save your money and time, go to another location. Mountain Mike's pizza is some of my favorite pizza but my experience with this location was awful. I ordered one XL pizza over the phone and asked for the smallest denomination of wings and the man over the phone said it was 12 wings (which I found out was not true when I arrived to pick up my pizza, they make orders of 6 wings.) When I came to pick up my order, I was charged $71 dollars. I was shocked by the price since I have ordered at other Bay Area locations and never had to pay so much for the same order. The cashier was very rude to me when I asked her why I was being charged so much and ended up basically throwing the peppers and parmesan cheese at me. To make matters worse, when I got home and opened up the pizza, it was both soggy and had wrong toppings. Finally, she brought it out. I asked why it had taken so long, and she said that you have to pay for it upfront before they give it to you. "Couldn't you have maybe mentioned that when I asked for a glass of wine?" I asked her.
This is incredulously bad service. I'm not the sort of customer who looks to complain in restaurants. In fact, this was our third time to this restaurant. The two previous times had involved problems, but I wanted to convince my wife to give them a third chance to do a good job. Sadly, they messed up again.
