Nothing beats Hawaiian BBQ! The beef and ribs were the best. You can't go wrong with Musubi. Went three times in one week and whoever was the person on the counter was always helpful. When I came with my friends, we were asking questions about the dole whip. My friend is lactose intolerant, while my son is allergic to coconut milk so we had to check. Server offered us a free taste to try out. I was unfortunately disappointed since I wanted the soft serve texture with the pineapple flavor on it, just like the old recipe. However, my friend thinks it tasted better than the original recipe since there is more pineapple flavor on this. So it depends on what you're looking for...to each his own. Staff doesnt explain the menu very well. I got the loco moco lunch which i thought comes with rice, macaroni salad, and veggies since dont like the toss salad. I got the veggies but no macaroni salad. So i went to the counter to ask and the 2 front ladies made it seem like i wasnt speaking english. I just asked " i thought it comes with macaroni salad" i just wanted to clarify but what i got back was this weird look from the order takers. This review is regarding this particular location off of Cottle Rd. DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. I've been buying from L and L everywhere over the past 18 years and this is the only location to ever fail me. I ordered food here with had some melted plastic in the food and had the food replaced. All was well until the food had hair in it and I haven't returned to this location since. Unless the laws regarding food sanitation change and people allow foreign objects like hair and melted plastic they're going to have to follow the rules period and I'm going to find my Island food...
