Phở Tau Bay — Restaurant in San Jose

My sister's food was bad. The meat was rotten. Seriously these people are going to kill someone one of these days. We noticed the bad smell outside of the restaurant. its REAL bad. She went to tell them after waving at them and no one came to us.

They took her plate and avoid her all the time until she stood up to try to order something else. They told her she couldn't order anything else. They dont care. I barely touch my plate We left without paying... they were watching us and didn't even bother. I guess if you complain they prefer you to leave.

But they didn't even bother to excuse themselves last time I found cardboard on my dish... I went like hey I found a cardboard on my dish I was so hungry that I put it on the side but it's a heads up for you kitchen team... and the lady at this point came with attitude asking why I didn't told them early 'like if I was asking for any type of discount'

This post won't make the city to shut down this place but I hope you choose wisely next time you want to go in.

We love the food even always get rude bad service, so awful but never again you are...

Cash only. Although I was able to pay with my credit card, I had to pay more than the cash price.

I ordered # 6 ox tail beef soup with noodles. The soup was ok, but a few pieces of ox tails were too rough to chew. I couldn't really eat a few pieces.

My daughter ordered a vermicelli. The smell was too bad - like fish smell.

While waiting, I smelled smoke. Someone was smoking right outside the rear door. And when the door was opened, the waiter and presumably another employee - maybe the chef? - came into the restaurant. I believe they (or one of them) smoked during lunch time.

My daughter ordered a boba tea. I tasted a bit and it tasted slightly smoky. I'm not too sure if something smoky in the boba tea was real or not.

We felt the waiter was rude. Maybe it was just because we didn't easily understood his English. Anyway, the communication was not easy and we were feeling to get pushed.

2 adults and 2 kids, we spent about 80$ for the lunch, which is more than we usually spend in a pho restaurant, but the food quality and service was way less than we normally experienced in other pho...

I always go to this restaurant and the service really is the worst of all san jose ca, the people who work there do not speak English, they do not understand, do not want or intend to be discriminate, that would not be good for me.
