Puro Michoacan Restaurant — Restaurant in San Jose

The server was super unfriendly, she started by showing bad mood, rushing me within a minute after being seated to order drink then she started walking while I was responding to my drink, then she come with the drink and ask to was want to eat and after I was still deciding she started talking words like do you actually need more time? And I ask for how spicy was a food and her answer was depending on the chiles( this is ridiculous because i worked for a restaurant well over 14 years most of them as a kitchen manager) for a fact I know how spicy is a dish.

After getting my dish I noticed that didn’t come with tortillas which I ask for some tortillas and her rude answer was like ( that dish doesn’t come with tortillas and I will charge you extra) that can either be like good if I don’t have money to pay but usually we don’t respond with a that is going to be extra and yelling from 2 tables away. I just say just bring it since I wasn’t ask for free food and when I go out I don’t go knowing that i can’t afford to eat at a restaurant. What really piss me off is that she yelled back and said ok! I really wish I could give this place a better rating. I was really excited to go here with a friend for my birthday. We ordered food which was ok. It was incredibly difficult to even order because of how loud the band was. The waitress was still learning English which is not a problem for me but it made it significantly more difficult to communicate when neither party could hear another on top of the language difference. I have never experienced noise so loud that I have a headache and I’m too nauseous to eat. My friend and I had to communicate through text which completely defeated the purpose of eating there. I have no problem with live music but the microphones were literally inside of the instruments and on full blast in a relatively small establishment. I unfortunately hadn’t had the time to read the reviews prior to eating there and if I had I would’ve seen this is a shared experience which is disappointing as it doesn’t seem like the business is listening to the constructive criticism. brought my dad for his bday, waitress was really nice and the food was ok. we got a carne mix molcajete but not worth the $45. it was 2 pieces or queso asado, 2 piece of nopales, 2 piece of chorizo but the carne asada and chicken were chopped up in very small pieces. it looked like it was the meat used for tacos. chicken and meat should have been bigger pieces and it looked like it was mixed in a greasy water sauce. i got the porriadillo, it was more egg in sauce and hardly any carne seca and the carne that it had was chopped up in small pieces. i had to send back my horchata too, it tasted like sweet water. the waitress said I'll fix it, i had 2 other complaints today and now you so there's something wrong with the water.
