This restaurant is nice and clean. Pho's broth was delicious and rich for most people. As for me, the broth was alright, Fresno pho's broth is better for sure, like pho 9. Combo pho, either thin or thick noodle, is a "must get" if you like the bone rib in your Pho, for appx $17.95 and an extra $6.95 for extra brisket. Vietnamese thick noodles mixed with veggies and chicken were interesting but not my favorite. The seasoning of this dish was mostly from the standard sweet and spicy sauce with a hint of sourness in most vermicelli dry dishes. The steak stir-fried dish was almost perfect. Our first steak dish has a piece of black hair on it but was quickly dressed by the owner, and we got a new dish after 5-10 mins. The steak was juicy and delicous. Flavor on point, and yes, I would get the steak again!! Stir-fried chicken with crisy noodles was alright. It's like eating a sitr fried dish with fried noodles instead of rice. Vietnamese iced coffee was nice and strong. Fried squid was fresh and crunchy, but I could use a little more salt to the seasoning based on my palate. Services were fast and worth it. We didn't have to wait longer than 10 mins for all of the dishes to come. This place definitely received my quality, but...

Pho This Way offers a clean modern dining room with a menu that contains not only pho, but also finger foods, other Vietnamese noodles, and favorites like Shaken Beef (Bo Luc Lac).
We visited on a Sunday before the lunch crowd and had ourselves a delicious feast. The broth was really good and the portion sizes were generous. The staff was very helpful in going over the menu with us. One item that we were absolutely glad we tried and would recommend to everyone is the Net Egg Roll, which was a perfectly crispy egg roll that you can wrap inside some lettuce and mint leaves before enjoying with the fish sauce.
San Jose no doubt has a lot of pho restaurants, but this new spot definitely deserves a visit.

Read moreI stopped by Pho This Way on a Sunday around 6 p.m. and was seated immediately — no wait at all, which was a great start. The restaurant has a straightforward, casual setup that feels welcoming without being crowded, making it an easy place to grab a comforting bowl of pho.
I ordered the Pho Đặc Biệt, and it arrived in under five minutes — impressively fast. The portion was very generous, with plenty of meat and noodles, definitely offering good value for the price. The broth was clean and light, true to the northern-style pho tradition. While that style tends to highlight clarity and simplicity, I personally prefer the richer, more aromatic southern-style pho, so the flavor felt a bit plain for my taste. Still, the ingredients were clearly fresh and the presentation tidy.
Service was excellent throughout — friendly, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. Everything ran smoothly from seating to checkout, making the overall experience...
