Saw it on tic toc so I went with my daughter and husband. The place is really nicely decorated. They greated us as we came in which is a plus,10 minutes and we where seated up stairs. Our server offered us drinks suggested a few,we had 2 prepared sangrias delicious but I'd add fresh fruit for the price of $9each.my husband had 2 black modelos. We had guacamole with 4 small pieces de chicharon $19 the guacamole was made fresh but no spice at all.I had the camarones en chipotle they are delicious the chipotle sauce is good and tasty it came with rice and a small salad. My daughter had the steak she asked medium rear but it was rear texture was under cooked but the seasoning on it was good,it had a few shrimp on top that had lots of flavor.it came with mac n cheese,it really was the blue box mac n cheese.and brocoli I believe.that was about $53 my husband had the pescado sarandiado it was an average fish it wasn't really meaty but it was cooked.it came with rice I really can't remember what other side that was about $30something,In total our bill came to $160something not including tip.To be honest it's more like a drinking Instagram picture moment kinda restaurant. My mistake was not informing myself before I went, they have a breakfast/lunch menu going for brunch and then a dinner menu for dinner so what I saw on tic toc and was craving wasn't being served...bummer!

We were excited to try this place. Pros: The ambiance is really nice. You don't feel crowded, plenty of seating. Also has outdoor seating. The server was super nice and friendly, as was the rest of the wait staff. The food plating was pretty and clean. And the food itself had great flavor. Cons: half our party got their plates, and the other half waited another 10 minutes, so we had to awkwardly sit there. But, the biggest con for us was the portion sizes that didn't make sense. The orange juice glasses were so small that you'll get about 5 swigs and be left wanting more. A friend ordered the burger, and there were maybe 15 fries. The plate looked so empty. The biggest disappointment was the rice and bean portion, though, which is sad for a Mexican restaurant. (The photo makes it look bigger than it was.) there's only about 2/3 spoonfuls worth of rice and beans. And what made matters worse is that the spoon is an awkward size to the dish and doesn't fit well enough to get a proper spoonful. So you're left to awkwardly scoop out a tiny portion of an already tiny portion. I hope they take this into consideration and perhaps rethink the plating or adjust the portion sizes. I will definitely return, though. The ambiance and staff were nice and worth giving another try.

We tried a new spot for dinner in Vietnam Town called Tulum, a Mexican restaurant with such a wonderful vibe the moment you walk in. From the outside it looks huge, but inside the space is beautifully designed with two levels of seating, eye catching decor, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We started with the mango ceviche, which I really enjoyed. If you prefer something less sweet, I would recommend going with the regular ceviche instead. For our main dish, we ordered the molcajete and it was absolutely amazing. It came packed with seafood, chicken, and steak all simmering together in a heated stone bowl with melted mozzarella inside. The red sauce was rich and flavorful, and since the stone kept the dish hot the entire meal, every bite was just as good as the first. The tortillas on the side made it fun to eat like tacos and the flavors were out of this world. The only thing to keep in mind is that the food does take a little longer to come out, so be prepared for a wait if you are really hungry. That said, it was worth every minute, and while we were waiting we kept noticing other guests getting equally unique and sizzling dishes served in stone bowls. Tulum is such a fun addition to San Jose dining and I cannot wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Here’s a polished version of your text:

This was our first time here. We drove from Gilroy. First impression of the location, not so great, but what do you expect, it’s San Jose! After some time searching, we managed to find parking. It was a bit of a long walk, but feasible.

The wait time was about 25 minutes, and we went on a Monday before noon. The busboy/host was super friendly and helpful, and we were seated on the top floor. Once seated, our waitress, Maritza, came over right away to take our order. Since it was our first visit, she took her time with us and recommended some of her favorite dishes.

My husband ordered the chilaquiles poblanos 100% recommend! The sauce was delicious, and the arachera it came with was tender and juicy. I ordered the desayuno mexicano. It was decent, but what stood out to me were the traditional Mexican beans. Unlike the Americanized versions I’ve had in the past, these beans felt authentic, just like the ones you’d get in Mexico. The dish also came with a generous portion of queso fresco, which added to the authentic vibe of the meal.

As for drinks, I had water, while my husband ordered café de olla. The coffee was decent, we’ve had better ones.

The atmosphere was pretty nice. The wall decorations and ceiling lamps made for great focal points. Overall, it was a great experience! We paid $55 for two people.

Don’t always believe reviews..see for yourself! Personally, I thought it was a great experience, definitely better than some higher-rated restaurants I’ve been to. Again, see for yourself!

This version keeps your original tone while improving flow...

Excited to visit this Establishment at first, disappointed in overall quality and service! The moment you walked in your greeted by a mess of kitchen. The table were so close the kitchen and Entry Way. The disorganization of this establishment speaks for itself. Waitress never offer waters to anyone unless ask for the drinks were brought to the table individually instead of all together. There were no napkins no salt on the table. We ask if they did anything for a birthday celebration. We heard others celebrating and making noise for them. We got an ice cream and birthday song. It felt like the upstairs and downstairs are 2 different establishments and not one whole restaurant. We gladly paid for the 20% for our 6+ party we also got charge a 3% for using a credit card? Our server was Lili . Being in the Hospitality industry/Food industry this was concerning I personally tried all the plates and there was no consistency in the flavor of the plates. We order 2 fish plates and one fish was way too salty and the other Fish was served 25 mins after all the other plates, while we patiently waited to get all the plates on the tables the first plates were cold and the second fish had no flavor no salt? I was gonna post this place on my social media to get you guys more business and revenue? But this was out of my hands. I’m sorry but I needed to be truthful on this. I would not be recommending this place to anyone and waste of...
