Photo: veggie burger (left), mini burger (right) Both burgers were pretty good. Not bad, but not memorable. Worth going to if you're in the area and crave a burger. I wouldn't go out of my way to return. I didn't enjoy the hard crunch around the edges of the veggie burger though. They use paper wrap/paper sleeves not boxes, so keep that in mind if you want to take leftovers home. They have a small menu, but good selection since you can order a sandwich, salad or dessert etc too. So there's something for everyone if you don't feel like a burger. I think that's the biggest upside for me when going to dine with other people (having various healthier options). The burgers aren't cheap. Considering the size of the mini burger and veggie burger was slightly thicker than an In N Out burger, I'd rather go to In N Out for a fraction of the price and better taste. When we went, tables weren't particularly clean and the floor was the typical amount of dirty (it was like 5pm by then), so we went ahead and sanitised the table we sat at. But I did see staff go around wiping the tables and clean the floor a bit at one point. They have outdoor seating too and a cute two seater table to the side of the restaurant. They have no contact ordering options at the counter and at the tables. But you go up to the counter to pick up your order yourself.

Until I became a regular at Super Duper, there was nothing to rival In-N-Out for consistency in quality. Too many places where I've enjoyed fancier burgers have disappointed me when I returned with a burger that was the same price as the original, but without the same quality of ingredients or preparation. But Super Duper is in the same league as In-N-Out now on that score. And I prefer the Super Duper burgers. The Niman Ranch beef patties are thick, juicy, and never over cooked, making a request for animal style superfluous. But if you do decide to go over the top with a fried egg, the yolk will bust and run all over everything everytime, as God intended. The regular chocolate shake tastes... chocolatey. The fries are fresh, not frozen, and somehow don't lose their flavor or consistency as fast as the fries at In-N-Out. And then there's the free pickles. With a spicy kick of peppers thrown in. Tbh, although I've been eating here for years at this point, I still haven't tried everything on the menu. I haven't gotten past the basics. They're just that good everytime. Life is too short. Eat Super Duper.

I love all the new burger joints that are opening up in the Bay Area! We found this place a couple weeks ago when we went to Slap Fish. So this time we came for burgers instead. All the meats they sourced is sustainable and organic. We got one mini and one super burger (both with cheese), fries and the strawberry milkshake. The difference between a mini vs super was that they have two patties for the super. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the burgers! The buns were soft but slight toasted, and the patties were sooo juicy! All the patties are cooked to medium and yet they all retain the juiciness and flavor. The patties tastes beefy. The fries were fresh but the shake! Highly recommend getting their shakes — they weren’t too sweet but they’re definitely rich. There’s also plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Great place to come for a burger fix!

Me and my wife are regulars at the Prospect location in San Jose. Last night we ordered to dine in at 8:15, the young boy on the register did not look happy to see us. When we sat down to wait for our order, a manager named Victor came to us at 8:20 and said that they are closing in 10 minutes and we had to wait for our food outside. I was shocked and so was my wife, we both have experience in restaurants and customer service and we know that you never kick customers out prior to closing under any circumstances. I made this clear to Victor and he said that he could have someone else tell me to leave. I assumed he meant a manager above him, so I asked him kindly to let me speak to this person. Victor then proceeded to go to the men's bathroom and came back with a gentlemen who looked confused himself and told us "This is the guy who has to clean the bathrooms, that means you have to leave." I was baffled by Victor's logic and behavior, I told him there was no reason for him to bring that man out and that I assumed he was bringing another manager for me to speak with. He continued on with his condescending self righteous attitude and then went to the kitchen area and began prepping burgers with the other cooks in the back. When we received our food, it was in togo bags rather than trays like we ordered. We had ordered 2 burgers with everything + cheese and 1 fry, however the food was undercooked and the bread used was Ciabatta. There were also other people in the store who received their orders and were not told they had to go outside. I have a feeling that Super Duper does not condone this type of service, especially by their management. Victor was extremely rude and condescending, it was impossible for us to enjoy our food, let alone the fact that the meat was undercooked and the order was incorrect. Something is clearly wrong at this location, the employees look unhappy and the management is only concerned about leaving as soon...

On Monday I had a terrible experience at this location.

For one thing, after I finished eating, I went to use the bathroom. As I was washing my hands, an employee came out of the one stall with a toilet after clearly using it, and proceeded to walk out the door without washing his hands. At first I wasn't sure he was an employee. So as I walked out I looked behind the counter and there he was. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

I used the Super Duper website contact form and have had zero response after waiting 3 business days.

I've taken my family here many of the times they've come to visit me in this area and frequent this location fairly often on my own or with friends.

After this gross experience I don't think I'll ever come here again and will be letting friends and relatives know..

Also, there were other issues that day before I had that experience. 1. the store had only been open about 1.5 hours, but there was absolutely no ice in one beverage machine and the second one was clearly low, 2. the Dr. Pepper dispenser was completely flat in one machine and pretty low in the second machine, and 3. despite the store not being very busy at that time, most of the tables were pretty dirty.

All of this together has really made me think twice about ever...
