All summer long, not only was the air conditioner broken, but it felt like the heater was on. I would walk in and start sweating. The famous salty cheese even curdled!!And they kept trying to put it in an ice bucket, but then the ice would melt. They just fixed the ac a week ago but summer was pretty much over. A little too late which leads to the next issue; bad management or ownership sadly. It was so good when it first opened. Another topic is the DoorDash experience. You need to know that when you DoorDash your order the delivery fee is set to $7.50!! I asked DoorDash why are some places having such a high delivery fee. They told me it’s a set price from that establishment! So if I use DoorDash, to get a Happy Lemon drink I’m paying for 2 drinks! It comes to a total of $14 or $15 dollars. You’re not going to get business with that high of a delivery fee. Its not that worth it. Go buy from T4 and Teaspoon. I also DoorDash OMG boba drinks. Read moreI have been going to Happy Lemon for over a year now and they have been pretty consistent with their service and quality of drinks! It is one of my favorite boba shops in the bay. I visited the prospect location for the first time, it is right next to Ike's and has ample of parking space. The place was not very crowded, the staff was very friendly and pretty quick taking orders and providing me with the drink (t took me less than 5 mins to get my drink). I had ordered their signature milk tea and as I had mentioned earlier, they are always consistent with the flavor and quality of the drink. It was super good and tasted very fresh. He didn't even ask me for my name, just said our order was canceled because they were out of lychee jelly.
Like, when were you going to tell me? Both employees saw us waiting in the pickup area and we were apparently the only online order since he didn't even ask for my name.
