I had my most terrible experience with this store today.
I was trying to return something that I thought I paid with a gift card. After it was done, I noticed that no gift card was issued as the refund. I asked the lady who helped me with the return and was told that it will be refunded to my target card automatically in a few days. Since it sounds weird based on my experience, I asked another staff for confirmation. He told me it turned out that I used a $5 coupon instead of a gift card to make the purchase. As a result, the $5 wonât be refunded at all. I told him that I didnât realize that I used a coupon by reading the receipt and I may not return it if I knew that. He said he can ask his manager to see if he can issue me a gift card. I waited for 7-8 minutes and the manager whose name is Laroy came. After hearing my explanation, he told me rudely that I âv already got the refund that I should get. I told him that itâs ok that he cannot issue me the $5 refund since itâs storeâs policy. But I hope in the future the store staff can remind customers that they used coupon which cannot be refunded before processing the return. This manager yelled at me that it is common sense that coupon cannot be refunded! I said it is not. And I couldnât tell that it is a coupon by reading â$5 storewideâ on the receipt. I didnât know it before today. He replied coldly that âNow you learnt it. It is a common sense!â I was shocked by the way that he responded to me. He could just say â ok, thank youâ, but instead he ridiculed me that Iâm lack of common sense. I was very unhappy and told him that I was not comfortable with his service. He just yelled one more time that it is a common sense, in a way that he doesnât care about my feeling at all. I felt terrible to be yelled in front of so many people and was trying to leave. I can still hear him yelling from my back that âdo you want me pay you $10 for you shopping here?â I felt so offended and I think that the most important thing for him was to announce to all the people around there that Iâm a stupid woman without common sense, I came to take advantage of the store, and he just did the right thing.
I havenât ever had such a terrible experience in any store. Iâm completely fine with not getting the refund of $5, but I felt very angry to be treated in such a rude way. I didnât feel being respected as a...
Read moreI visited target today and came across a Dyson vacuum. It was was on sale, but hooked up to a security fob, so I needed to find an associate to help me. After about 40 minutes of looking for an associate while calling the store to also find help we finally found a girl who works in electronics, setting up phones.. She tried to help to detach the security fob, but didnât have any success, She went on to find somebody else to help and thatâs when Isaac Came to help. He also tried to release the security fob, but wasnât able to After 15-20 minutes at which time he went to the back of the store and brought a different Dyson to me. He rang it up and it was regula in the meantime the vacuum is still displayed at the sales price. r in the price and I told him it was on sale. He said he couldnât find it on sale and he thinks that maybe there w this or itâs possible for this, and I was looking at them with these words of maybe and possibly and starting to lose patience. I told him to please find a manager who could help, and thatâs when he saw a leads person named Jessica Walking. He called out to her. However, she ignored him for about 10 steps, and then turned around to help us. Explaining what the issue was and that I was unable to purchase the vacuum at the displayed price she went to the aisle and investigated. She came back and said because she wasnât able to tell whether or not it was the customer who changed the location of the.product or the fault of an associate. She said that we were not able to purchase the Product at the displayed price because there was no proof that the customer did not move the product. I was so surprised of this level of service. Iâm hoping to talk with Richard who is Jessicaâs manager. In the meantime the vacuum is still displayed with the...
Read moreThis will anger a lot of Target shoppers: I've been a long time customer of Target and have spent thousands of dollars here. But this experience, however, just infuriated me. It was about 30 mins before closing, I'd gone in to return some items that didn't fit me. The one who is called LaRoy, who claimed to be the front-end manager, refused to accept two of my items claiming that I'd had them for "a month". Completely livid, I exclaimed that I had purchased them just a week before. I read the Target return policy to him and he said, "I have a right to refuse the items." I asked for him to show me where it states that in their return policy and he eventually walked away and never came back. I also asked for the name of the store manager and all he gave me was a piece of paper with corporates phone number on it. I've contacted corporate already and have reported this. So, I expect full and well to receive a...
