I don't know where to start, first the service was very very slow even though there were not a lot of customers, then when my family got their tacos they had salsa on it ( some with red salsa and others with green). I think is up to the client's decision whether they want salsa or not, the birria taco was horrible, tasted like they left it in the pot for hours and got burned, did not taste like legitimate birria for sure. The sope that was meant to be for my son had also salsa on it, seriously, why would you guys do that? If I decide to have spicy food I as a customer can add the salsa, I have never seen this in any Mexican restaurant in US or in Mexico! Then my brother paid cash and I decided to look at the receipt and notice a credit card fee for $1.44, when I ask about the charge the waitress told me it happens automatically when you pay with card, but my brother paid cash, she said with cash is waived, but it was in the receipt as a charge! Then she told me she told my brother about it and that she explained she did not have the $.44 cents so my brother decided to leave it like that, when I ask my brother about it he was very mad of the lady lying because she never mentioned that, she just told the total, my brother paid and that's it. You guys better get your things together and stop having extra fees that little by little sum at the end of the day. Y por favor dejen a Los clientes poner su...
Read moreI was hungry and was lured into going to eat at this place by the reviews from other customers, I can't believe this place has so many good reviews??!! Maybe the people going to El Coyotito are used to eat at bad restaurants...? I had a terrible experience at this place, first off let me say I love mariscos (seafood) and Mexican food in general, but the staff at this place really made me feel like I was ripped off, the place was dirty, the tables were dirty, the ladies working there did not know much about customer service, me and my wife kept asking for stuff that they were supposed to provide for our dishes and they failed terribly, I am a generous person and I hate to not give a tip, Specially when the servers really try to help me with a good attitude and a sense of empathy, but I did not leave any tip this time, they didn't deserve it. Please go...
Read moreConcert night, and my boyfriend and I had a DD, so I chose a place with margaritas. At the restaurant, we're told the margaritas are from a mix. There was some confusion, because we actually believed there was no alcohol in them. We order sangrias instead. Bad news. All out of sangria. I get a licuado (like a milkshake), and the man goes for a beer. By now, we're embarrassed that we'd chosen this place, but we persevere. The food is better. Not great, but not bad. My boyfriend's large taco is unexpectedly the size of a street taco. We almost had to order the small just to see how tiny it is. We were set straight on the margarita issue, and it's actually pretty good, stronger than expected.
Service is wonderful. Too bad the kitchen can't keep...
