El Maguey Express — Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano

The food here is delicious and I have been a loyal customer, recommending to others for a long time, BUT I WILL NOT BE BACK. I've been put off before by the Owners unwillingness to give customers more salsa when requested but have tried to overlook it. When she's not there the other servers are great! But this week she finally pushed me over the edge. My friend and I, who go every other Saturday, were on the patio for 1½ hours from 11:30 to 1:00 when she came out and wanted us to move inside because we had been there too long. There were 2 open tables and NO one waiting. When I politely said we always tried to be aware if there were people waiting, she said the other tables were for 4 & 6 customers and we were at a 2 person table. Unlike other places they cook the meat to order making it fresh and juicy with lots of flavor.
