Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Juan

I was very disappointed with my recent experience with Popeye's. Not only did I receive no condiments that I specifically asked for like honey and ketchup, but I also got zero napkins with my order.

I also requested easy ice in my drinks and my cups were full of ice, hardly any drink at all.

The food itself was a disaster. The fries were cold and soggy, like they'd been sitting there for a while and probably didn't want to make fresh ones because they obviously didn't have enough fries for my full order as I can literally count the amount of fries in my plates. Each had about 10 fries in them. I have the pictures to prove it and wish I could add it to my review.

The chicken wasn't bad. It tasted fine, but it was also cold.

My problem was with the quality of the food from Popeye's and the way the order was filled and instructions followed. I don't think we'll be ordering from this Popeye's ever again. It is a terrible representation of this company. Nothing like I've come to expect...

I was craving fried chicken and decided to get Popeyes. I ordered the #2- 3 piece combo and made 1 of those pieces spicy. Well 2 of the pieces of chicken "looked" huge and the spicy one was a tiny burnt wing. The large pieces of chicken where mostly all fried batter, and it was all bone, the rib cage. The meat it had between the bones was not able to be shredded off. I couldn't pull it off. It was so tough! It was truly disgusting. All I wanted was some good fried chicken that was juicy and moist on the inside. This is not the place to go. I did have the red beans and rice and the mashed potatoes with the Cajun gravy. Those items were okay. Very disappointed ☹️ I put service as 3 stars, but i barely had any contact with anyone as I went through the drive thru, so don't take that into...

If y’all want a dine in experience as you sit in your truck waiting for food, this is the place to be. Not one order was a drive thru order. It seems they are now making the order as you arrive, so there were cars all waiting on the side. Sorry Popeyes, that isn’t fast food. That’s pretty much dine in, in my truck. Had to pull my large truck off to the side and wait close to 20 minutes from the time on the receipt. I watched as every car was also pulled aside. A ton of grandkids in row, it isn’t optimal. Plus in my 60s, this patience lacks. Staff was also visibily frustrated because we had to wait for additional mistakes on the order. Y’all be warned. This won’t be fast food and the restaurant literally didn’t have anyone inside. Manager needs...
