I wish I can give 0 stars. I went there last night 4/2/25. This place had one table of people when we entered maybe a group of 10 and about 3 people at the bar. I came with a group of 6 we were seated right away. The server apparently the bartender and manager are all the same person. We waited about an hour for our food. After waiting an hour the food still came Cold. Had to send food back to be up warmed in a microwave 👎🏽 I said can we have waters “ I asked all of you did you want drinks and you said No” Attitude just horrible. One person at our table never got her food she sat and watched everyone eat on her Birthday. The server again who was serving bartending and managing the place was acting very nonchalant like he didn’t care that her food wasn’t ready and it was nothing he can do because it was one cook. which he never said. Now had he said “ I have one cook your food may take a while I could understand. Let me have the to say no this may take too long and we could’ve went somewhere else. So upon paying he bring the person who never received there food in a to go box. She was upset and of course didn’t want it. After asking if the meal can be removed. He walked off saying “ only a manager can take it off “ I politely said I’ll wait while walking to the register To all of sudden have him print another receipt removing the item……I will never return to this place to be treated like that ON Vacation ON my birthday. Plus the food wasn’t that good anyway. I hope he’s a lot nicer so he won’t drive the business down. But I come to PR every 6 months and this will be a place I won’t return or bring any of my friends or...
Read moreThe food tasted good, except it was too salty. I found it was common in Puerto Rico that their food is more salty than what I'm used to, so maybe it's my problem.
However, what made me uncomfortable was the attitude of the waiter/bartender. After I asked for some ice water but refused bottled water, the waiter was surprised and said they didn't have filtered water, and then their attitude totally changed. I was confused, and wondered in my mind whether they made their food with bottled water as well. Then, when our food came, I raised my hand to take the plate, but the waiter suddenly pulled back and placed the plate (soundly) on the opposite side of the table, turned around and walked away. Finally, while paying for the check, the waiter left the device on the table and walked into the kitchen. I finished the payment, tried to cut the receipt off, but accidentally popped the paper cover out. When the waiter came back, found out the cover popped, gave me a big eyeroll, took around 10 seconds to put the cover back. Totally the weirdest experience I've had!
Overall, I recommend their food and especially beef stew. But don't expect too much for the...
Read moreTry to avoid this place when in San Juan.. The place is okay, they robbed us by charging $30 for 2 shots of tequila. Along with alcohol we ordered an appetizer and we almost waited for 30 mins and the order was not delivered. Then we asked the waiteress to check on the status of the order and she said that the order was not placed. So we asked her for a check. We found that we were charged for the appetizer that was not given to us. Then the manager came up for a fight saying that you have to pay for it. This is not how you behave with customer. It was their mistake for not placing the order and how do you expect the customers to pay for the food that was not delivered. Please learn to treat...
