Wow! My new fav!! Discovering this Salvadorean bakery by accident is probably the only reason I have to go back to San Leandro! I got semita and quesadilla, it was so yummy it reminded me of the pastries that my grandma used to bring me back from the motherland. I was so happy to see all of the cheeses and snacks too. The pupusas were huge and delicious and it was the best curtido I've had in a while.

Love coming here :) the pupusas & bakery items are delicious and the staff is really nice! They run a clean place and there’s lots of snack & drink options in stock too. I always see families here & it has a really nice community vibe. I see some outlets on the wall too so would be a good place to come and work as well. Also the hot coffee is really good!

I love papusas and have traveled some great distances to get good tasting papusas. This was one of my favorites in the area because of the taste and baked goods. I love being able to sit and enjoy a full meal with desert. The customer service was always good and they even tolerated my bad attempts at ordering in Español. Covid kept me from frequent visits and created changes that effected the entire experience for me. I arrived placed my order and waited in my car. I ordered extra curtido and salsa roja because I enjoy its flavor. I picked up my order drove to a park to enjoy good food and good weather all while social distancing. Imagine my disappointment when the papusa fell flat in the flavor category. I thought the curtido and salsa roja would help, but it was bland and watered down. My joy in what was once a great place was diminished to I need to find a new place. People make all the difference and while the new people were nice it takes a special person to cook a good tasting meal. I'm not complaining because someone loves this place as I once did. I'll be back to test the food and see if they bounce back but for now the best I can offer is to compare them to the competition. Here are somethings that matter to me. Happy friendly workers, and food with flavor, and that I get what I ordered....

If there’s a lady with blonde hair avoid getting service by her. She is completely rude I decided to go back to this place after a while. My girlfriend and i bought over $30 worth of food . we also bought their sweet bread. However, my food never got served to us we ordered our food around 1:29pm . We patiently waited but we noticed how the lady with the blonde had left some orders out on the counter without calling anyone out. By the time it was 2:00pm my girlfriend got up and tried to get someone’s attention at the counter but ignored her. So I got up and asked for a refund that’s when the lady with the blonde hair said that my order was ready. Mind you she was the one packing the food and the one who left it there. She started giving me an attitude when I asked...

I ordered 2 tamales and 1 cheese filled tortilla. I was told 3-5 mins. After 29 mins I told the young lady that I had to leave, she sail the tamales were ready, but needed 5 more minutes for the tortilla. I asked to have the tamales so I could go. She wouldn’t give them to me and instead asked the cook. I got the attention of another young lady who verified my receipt and foun the tamales, yet she too went to talk to the cook and refused to give me the tamales. I had to leave and I got nothing for the $8 I spent. They are literally a rip off. I called later and guess what? No manager works there. The phone was put down and for the next 3 mins before the phone went dead, I could hear the sounds of cooking ad people eating. Other people eating the...
