Wendy's — Restaurant in San Leandro

We didn't want to go here. We were driving back from San Jose at like the worst possible time. I think it must have been rush hour or something. Luckily we were in my mother-in-law's truck. It's an F-150 and it's probably like 25 years old. I don't know. It's old but it's still going pretty strong. Anyway, we were coming up from San Jose and luckily there was a fast pass fast track (I forget what they're called in California) so we got to go in the super speedy turbo lane thing but the rest of the freeway was totally backed up for a long time. Anyway, we had to get something to eat before we got to my mother-in-law's house because it was like almost dinner time but we were supposed to eat dinner down in San Jose or somewhere down there so there wasn't going to be a dinner waiting for us later so we had to find dinner but anyway the freeways were just packed so we couldn't get off because the super turbo lane thing is all the way on the left hand side and the all of the lanes are just kind of like barely moving like stop and go for like I don't know dude for tens and tens of miles or something so I wasn't going to get out of that lane and then sit in like half an hour of traffic just to get over four lanes so I could jump off and get fast food or something. So we just said we'll go all the way to where we need to go. So we got all the way here and then we're like well I guess we got to find fast food right around the house and luckily we saw the Wendy's sign there but it looked like it was closed like there was fencing all around it and stuff. So I'm like oh man and then we turned anyway and noticed that the drive-thru is still open so I guess it's like they're doing some renovations or something. But anyway there was still food I guess. So we pulled in there and just did that drive-thru thing and then like prayed to the drive-thru Gods that our food in the bags that the lady handed us was actually the food that we ordered and then we just drove that back to the house. It was pretty much all correct and it tasted really good. I mean I'm sure it would have tasted good if we weren't starving, but we kind of were starving so it tasted even better. I don't have any complaints. I hope that the renovations are going to be great, although I'll probably never go there again in my life, All in all I have to say it was...

Very sad... This location has changed immensely!!! The young man taking the order at the window was a complete jerk!!! He handed us our drinks out of the window and as we asked him a question about the size of a milkshake he slammed the window closed. No big deal right, could have been an accident. Before we could check our food, he seem to be upset when we asked for a receipt. He needs a lot of training and customer service. We then particular to check our food and started waving at him attempting to get his attention and he looked at us turned his head and walked off. Mind you I've never seen him before so I don't have a problem with him until now. Finally the manager showed up. She was decent. She replaced our fries and walked them out to the car for us. But overall the experience was a negative 2... Based on the bad attitude of the worker, food shrinkage, cold fries, and inconvenience.. I won't be visiting the store anytime soon, nor would I recommend it.. I need to complete overhaul... I would much rather wait for better customer service than to be mistreated this way.. My money is...

Horrible place to order food they don't care about the walk ins I was ubering food and came to pick up my order as soon as I walked in no one greeted me nor was any one at the register I ask for help they ignored me for 5 min till I got to asking for a manger I told her I was picking up and order and she told me it wasn't ready never ask me the name of the order I walked over to the edge of the counter told her it was right there and saw my order was sitting there and then I asked them how long was it sitting there she told me that she just made it absolutely not I have been there for 10minutes already so I asked her to make the order over since it was cold she asked me to leave and I took the order and opened it and threw it in the garbage the food was cold even the ice was melted service was horrible customer service very bad attitude everyone in that place needs to be retrained or fired I cant believe this but this is all the time in there not the first time wendy's have people to represent there company like that I would never eat...
