This San Marcos location is one of three One More Bite Dumpling eateries in Southern California, offering fast casual Shanghai-style dishes. This location features spacious high ceilings and an open layout. It also offers free parking. The chicken fried udon with black pepper sauce was recommended by our server Allen and it was the table’s favorite pick. The dish contained moist and flavorful chicken and noodles, with a balanced level of oil, so it was a medium heavy dish. It was accompanied by nicely sliced carrots, green bell peppers, and cabbage for texture. At $16, it was also a great value for hungry eaters considering the generous portions. The steamed shrimp dumplings were moist and tasty. They were medium-sized and came three (3) to a plate. The three (3) mushroom shrimp pork shumai were large-sized and covered with bright orange fish roe. Great, filling bites with the chili oil. The sticky rice chicken in lotus leaf reminded me of smelling earthy tea. Inside the carefully wrapped rice was warm chicken that alternated between moist and l dry bites. The steamed pork xiao long bao came in a pack of eight (8) with a side of thinly sliced ginger. Their pockets held in the meat juices until you bit into the dumpling. The tops of the dumplings were a bit firm. The red bean paste buns were made of white steamed dough and decorated with adorable yellow ears/mouth and black eyes. Big hit with the kids! Overall, a tasty place to share Shanghai-style comfort food with family and friends for lunch or dinner.

A new dumpling store near the neighborhood. The first feeling was that the store had a local interior and felt clean. It was nice to get steam from the freshly made dumplings. But the flour wrapped around the dumplings was too thick. And the dumplings are bigger than I thought. I ordered various kinds and it was delicious. It was more than I expected except for the thick dumpling skin. I recommend it. If you like thick dumpling skin, I have a lot of people who don't speak English, so I have a hard time ordering food. Fry noodle udon was delicious here. And there are various kinds of dumplings that can be eaten like drinks and desserts, so it's solved all at once. It's nice to have a place like this in my town. I will go eat it again with my family in Dam.

Drove by and saw this place and decided to give it a shot. I didn't look at any pictures on the site beforehand and just went there for lunch. I forgot to order the main steam dumplings that I wanted but everything I tried was delicious. When I first came into the restaurant, they were playing very relaxing music with Asian influences. Right away it felt very calming and just a different experience than other restaurants. It has a very open design that makes it feel very large and roomy inside. The decorations were cool and everything went together well. Excited to come back here and try more things.

Gave this place a try tonight after hearing great things about it. Food was EXCELLENT! Service was EXCELLENT and friendly! Atmosphere was nice!

We had: Pork Xiao Long Bao - Delicious and large Steamed Shrimp Dumpling - Very good, but the least fav thing we ordered Popcorn Chicken - Delicious and a large portion Spicy Pork & Shrimp Dumplings - Delicious, but when they say "Spicy" they aren't kidding, spice was probably 7-8/10 Garlic Shrimp Spring Rolls - Delicious! Sunrise Galaxy Tea (Wife liked it)

Everything was hot and fresh with great flavors, honestly we ordered a little too much food (we got through it, but I had to take "One Last Bite" a couple times). Based on what we ordered we would do the same thing again but skip the Steamed Shrimp Dumplings simply because we had too much food and those were very good just not or favorite thing.

We will DEFINITELY be back again! The only downside, that parking lot is terrible so parking is challenging, but the hassle and the wait to get in is all well worth it once you try the food! We used to drive 35-40 minutes to Shanghai Saloon & Dumpling Inn on Convoy St, but now we have this place that is about 5 minutes away and I would say the...

The food here is incredible!!! All of the dishes I tried were so flavorful and very authentic. The traditional XLB was my favorite followed by the roe, pork and shrimp shumai. The beef iron was fantastic as well. No complains on anything. The atmosphere is very fun and lively! The servers were all very friendly and super grateful for the business. We came on the 3rd day they were open so we knew there would be some growing pains as they get into their groove and there were. However, the staff were attentive and caring and doing their best, which goes a long way. We heard a few people complaining about the long wait times for some of their drink orders but that was to be expected because this place is brand new and finding their footing. The food was insanely good so I would wait as long as it takes to eat there again!! So worth it. We had a taro milk boba tea for dessert and it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted (first time having milk tea). Loved everything...
