Taquería Los Moreno — Restaurant in San Mateo

Not very good. Got a super burrito and the first thing I noticed is that the beef was kind of off and a bit funky. One person on Grubhub stated it tasting like dog food and I could kind of see where they’re coming from as it had a very offputting smell.

Overall, the flavors were kind of bland and a bit wet with that mayonnaise queso stuff which was kind of again pretty offputting having a mayonnaise flavored burrito

Also, nothing was really seasoned. No salt or pepper. And lots of strings from guacamole.

I was really excited about this burrito based on the reviews, but I found it to be the total opposite and definitely would rate it amongst my least favorite that I’ve had so far in the Bay Area. I definitely don’t like that bland boiled and griddled meat compared to places like Pancho Villa or El vapor that chair everything on the grill for tons of flavor

Also, I don’t know how you messed up a simple order but they forgot to add my salsa chips...

I have been a regular customer of Los Moreno Taqueria for several months, ordering through DoorDash over 40 times. Their burritos are fantastic, especially the carne asada super burrito, which I always request to be made crispy (also known as “dorado style”). The flavor is always spot-on, and their hot sauce is the perfect complement.

However, my recent experience was quite disappointing. After placing my usual order, I received an email from DoorDash with unexpected charges for all the modifications I had requested. This was a frustrating surprise, particularly since I have been a loyal customer for so long.

While I have genuinely enjoyed their burritos, this recent issue has made me reconsider continuing to order from here. It’s disheartening to encounter surprise charges after months of consistent patronage. I hope Los Moreno Taqueria addresses this issue for the sake of their...

The food is delicious- consistently. It is a bit of a hole in the wall , but again delicious food. My only gripe is the consistency with the cashiers. One time in particular, one of the brothers was training a new girl and she didn’t ring in one taco i ordered. Once my food arrived and I noticed , the brother said I wasn’t charged and when I went to pay with my card he enforced the minimum card purchase rule. This was extremely annoying because 1. This was the their error 2. I’m a regular.

He should have either made an exception or given me the taco at no charge . Instead I got no taco . This made me not go back for over a year. This lack of customer service could really detour business. I have not had an issue since starting back and the food is...
