I'd give it 5 stars for all aspects simply because the service was wonderful but reviews are supposed to be honest.
Rooms: the rooms are very good sized. I slept better on the old spring mattress than I ever have on my nice memory foam mattress at home. There's a large countertop right outside the bathroom with the sink in it and plenty of space for all your needs, it stretches from one wall to the other and there's a microwave on it as well. There's a small refrigerator provided. The shower was hot and water pressure was acceptable. The only negative you might find is the color scheme, personally I don't care about such things and I think it's silly to judge your stay based on that but some people are just too picky.
Service: the owner is very kind, accommodating, and friendly! She's definitely a highlight of staying here. She greeted me quickly and check in was smooth and easy. If every service industry person had her attitude the world would be a much better place.
Location: it's convenient to 101 and some restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores without being too close to the busy areas of that region. The only drawback is it's right next to a UHaul center and Uhaul is somehow allowed to park some of their large trucks on the street and that makes it hard to see traffic coming towards you when you try to exit the parking lot. This is not a fault of the hotel itself, it's 100% the city of Belmont allowing Uhaul to get away with something they should absolutely be fined for. Uhaul needs to keep all their trucks inside their yard or get rid of some of them. Other than that the location is fine, I didn't hear any street noise from my room unless I had the window open. I felt safe at all times, I didn't see any sketchy people loitering around the...
Read moreHere Are The Con(s): The room was somewhat clean even though I saw a dead bed bug in one of the dressers at the desk and another dead one that was underneath the comforter which kinda freaked me out and there's no telling what else I could have found if I was to stay the whole night but thankfully, I didn't spend the whole night in my room as I had to check out of there early after midnight.
Now on to the Pros: This hotel is located right nextdoor to a McDonald's, IHOP, and Dollar Tree so that makes it convenient for the location. Plus it has a lot of cable channels via dish which makes it great so you can never miss your favorite program! 📡
P.S. Front desk guy that was checking me in after only telling me to come back in an hour could have been a little more welcoming. I mean I was telling him it was my first time there at Hotel Belmont, so the least he could have done is welcomed me with open arms - that's it! Anyways, my first and last impression of the place as he should have just answered the door when I was ringing the door bell but he just seemed uninterested at first which is why I was left standing there for more than 5 minutes just waiting for him to come to the door to answer but at least he seemed quick at answering the phone rather than the door. 🤦♀️ So yeah, I don't think I will be back which is why I recommend Silicon Valley Inn that is only a few doors down so you should go check it out in case you haven't...
Read moreThe room we stayed in was quite small and had two beds. But the beddings and carpet were new. The hotel is also near the NAIA 3 airport and had free shuttle service. However, the service took a long time..we waited for 30 minutes, then decided to take a cab instead.|Breakfast was free buffet..but most of the food were cold. Our friend who came to visit ordered breakfast because she was not included in the buffet..but we had already finished eating when her food arrived.. i dont know if they have upgraded their service because i also write a comment for their hotel when they emailed me... hope their food service has improved...|p.s. the field requiring when i traveled does not include the month i travelled.. i think it was in early 2017..feb or march but i checked september because it was the...
