For small bites, it's tough to go wrong. I'd recommend the short rib birria ramen if you're hungry. The queso fundido swept me off my feet, which was an ideal follow-up to the mini-taco trio. There's a lot to love.
I should talk about the agave spirits that the owner has been collecting over the past decade, building relationships with micro-producers doing small-batch work. Since the collection speaks for itself, I'm going to highlight the cocktails and the better-than-mocktails. For something refreshing, try the Macario. With prickly pear balanced by lime, you'll find the bottom of this vodka-fueled drink quickly. What truly got me were the tequila, gin, and whiskey from which the alcohol has been removed used to whip up super fantastic drinks. How they retain the mouth-feel and flavor of alcohol, I'll never know, but those new gen mocktails fully won me over.
