Lee's Garden — Restaurant in San Pablo

The slim lady at the cashier has a very bad attitude. She doesn’t smile at all. One time I placed an order, and when I politely asked the cashier to give me just one order instead of two, she frowned at me and said something—I don’t know if it was in Chinese or Korean—but I realized it was an insult. I was friendly with her, yet she treated me that way. Meanwhile, the cook herself came out, handed me my order with a smile, and greeted me warmly.

When I was leaving the restaurant, I still said “thank you” to the slim cashier, but she replied with a gloomy face and said “thank you” back 😡. This left me with a very bad impression of the restaurant, and I don’t want to...

I had stopped coming here because of attitude problems with the staff and decided to give them another shot after several years but this people don't change. I left with the order already bagged so decided to go around the corner and had the same bad experience at the other place. It's hard for them to understand what you want and it's also hard to understand what they're saying, but they are the ones who get exasperated and start being very rude, I'm not sure if it's a cultural issue because it happens at most Chinese restaurants, and I have never had a problem at a Vietnamese restaurant, on the contrary, Vietnamese staff have been very polite and they thank you...

I wish I'd read the reviews before going in. I was in a rush going to the ups shop next door so I decided to get some chinese. Very big portions of very bad food. I ended eating only the chow mein. Even when I took my food to go they asked for a tip. DO NOT ASK FOR THE PORK RIBS, they taste like freezer. Also, they will give you A LOT of chow mein/rice and very little food and that's ok because that's the only edible thing. I'm not even mad, just sad that they have to be like this to keep in business. If I had to come back again I'll probably ask what is fresh and prepared today...
