Punjabi Kitchen — Restaurant in San Pablo

I didn't even remember the taste of food.. but how we got treated as Asian disappoints me....the lady waiter asked us a covid vaccine proof..it sounds right and I showed her....but a white couple came after us got completely different treatment..I don't mind showing my covid proof. but what really upsets me. She is very unprofessional and treating people differently with face... Frankly I have no issues with those white couple...they didn't asked for any special treatment...but that lady waiter treating customers differently sucks...after all we all pay the same....damm disappointed with her and I hope she is not Punjabi...if she is she is first Punjabi is...

This place was recommended to me so I thought I should give it a try. First hand they don't have consistent opening hours so my first two tries were unsuccessful. They have been out of the takeout menu for over a month. The whole setup is so weird including selling fried chicken by the front counter. The store is messy, disorganized, and looks run down. You have to walk through the store to the back to find the restaurant which has no sign. On my third attempt, I was finally able to order and try their food. There is nothing special about the food or the ambiance...

Horribly rude woman answered the phone when we called to answer our Uber eats order about a 2-3 minutes after placing it when my husband realized he'd put in his work address, she said "No you cannot cancel because the order is ready" that was after Uber Eats tried to call and said they couldnt reach the restaurant and the woman kept shouting into the phone"No, it's ready, no cancelling" Long story short I haven't eaten their food but I wouldn't want it if it only takes 3 minutes to prepare and don't want to eat at places where they verbally...
