Famous Deli Market & Bakery — Restaurant in San Rafael

Went over 10 yrs ago and had the chicken salad sandwich was delicious but went yesterday and got to the beach to eat our lunch and smelled the chicken and it smelled rotten so I say try it before hand is my opinion...was so disappointed but will have to say they returned it with now prob and all got potato salad and smelled the same...the lady was nice as let my.hubby use the bathroom even thou they didn't have a public one and if I want a reg deli sandwich and want x meat ask cuz my hubby only got to slices on his His sandwich was ok but the bread is highly recommend so maybe go and just get their bed and make your own sandwich didn't want to leave a review but also didn't want ones to get the food I listed above and take it and.have...

Hate to leave a bad review for a local business but my experience was pretty bad today. The "famous turkey club" is listed on the board for $8.29. I was charged $9.29 because it was "changed in the system" but not on the menu?. Eh, no biggie but annoying to be charged a different price with a "sorry bout that". As for the sandwich, pathetic amount of meat and really pathetic microwaved bacon. 2 stars because the bread was good and the veggies on the sandwich were fresh. For a few extra bucks there are some really good options around (Perry's deli and the Santa Venetia Market deli both blow this place out...

Geared more to the Hispanics in the area 7.99 a bit pricey for a deli sarnie, no fresh produce, yet wee tubs of potato salad, fresh apples ( single) & bananas, no powdered potato flakes, but at least two types of refritos & several tins of beans, salsa, pot noodles, some cereal, fresh coffee & Mexican chocolate, an ATM is available for customers use, not far from bus routes & an over priced hotel, bottled water, eggs, milk & sodas all can be found, as well as pet food and picnic plates, cuos & bowls, but I didn't see any cat litter, two brands of tinned food & two dry & I think a brand of dog food,...
