This is going to be a weird one….. I want to give it a 1 star, I want to give it a 5 star! I’m so confused!!!! I looked up the joint because I wanted good pizza. I’m from Austin and we have amazing pizza there. I found this place and I saw there was a register right when you walk in. Maybe that’s where you order? There isn’t a sign that tells you where to go I also saw a wall of coolers. I did want a beer…. So I walked up to grab a beer and then go order my pizza…. But then this guy walked up to me, stood next to me very oddly. Nice guy! Don’t get me wrong. But have you seen that show on Netflix called “you”? Yea well he was like main character vibes. He let me know I can sit at a table or whatever, no real straight forward direction. I guess you are supposed to talk to the person at the register? Idk it was very confusing! Then they gave me a menu, 4 different people were coming up to me and asking if I need anything, I didn’t know who to order from, how to pay. Idk! I felt very discombobulated. The pizza and the dessert were on point. Food is great atmosphere was awesome but that whole weird you don’t know if you order at the register or if you got a way to be seated or who’s your server or any of that was...
Read moreI came in a few weeks ago and was pleasantly greeted by the workers. They were so sweet and explained the menu and answered my tedious questions regarding slices. The kind worker also gave me such yummy samples of the gelato and I was so surprised ! Their flavors absolutely blew me away. The Nutella type one was so creamy and delicious as well at the sour lemony shaved ice type gelato! I highly recommend the gelato and the pizza was super yummy too just a bit small for a slice. I paid around $7 for a slice and around 5.50 for a scoop of gelato. Overall just really cute environment on the inside as well as really nice workers! Great place to...
Read moreHad an amazing time at the grand opening of Hot Italian last night. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very personable with customers. The pizza was absolutely delicious and some of the best I’ve had outside of Italy. They had live music and dancing, and it was clear that the owner has a community of fun people who support them, and this added to the experience of the restaurant. I also very much enjoyed hearing and speaking (or attempting to) Italian, as I have been looking for places in the North Bay to feel more connected to my heritage. HIGHLY recommend Hot Italian for the food...
