HumBowl is the BEST NEWCOMER to San Rafael's Court Plaza for anyone happy with fast, fresh, clean, casual, healthy, gluten free, vegan meals. You can easily add chicken, shrimp, or eggs for non-vegan friends. This place is fantastic for group orders, fast lunches, catering for a crowd, or Friday office lunch orders. Eric (the owner of both San Rafael and Berkeley locations) is an amazing guy! Super friendly and a fun hang. Charming and happy (obvi). Clearly this man likes to eat healthy and lead a healthy lifestyle, and he is now making it easier for all the rest of us to do the same. Inspiring! Eric guided me and my friend through the menu with my two standard questions: "What do you sell the most of, and What is your current personal favorite?" I ordered 2 dishes to try: the Thai Green Curry Bowl and the Sesame Jasmine Bowl. At Eric's smart suggestion, I added a 3-bean mixture on top to increase protein content: garbanzo, chickpea, and black beans. DELISH. The serving size was generous (and I was hungry). I ended up taking my food home and I had delicious and healthy food for both dinner that night and lunch the next day! My boyfriend tried both dishes at home and liked them, too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Humbowl is AMAZING! I was ordering individual boxes for 70 people with MANY specific allergies. Not only did the team CREATE a menu for me based on the allergies that I sent them (including listing out which bowls each person could or could not eat AND created a special bowl JUST for one of my specific allergy guests), but they also brought an allergy sheet, cards that listed the ingredients of each item, and hot sauce with an ingredient list. I cannot thank them enough. The gluten and dairy free menu is a HUGE help, but they went above and beyond to help me find meals for citrus, soy, treenut, corn, peanut, and more complex allergy profiles.

Went to Humbowl in San Rafael for lunch and loved all the amazing healthy options! Being plant based and GF I really appreciated all the vegan options and gluten free choices. They also cater so I'll be ordering office lunches from them since they satisfy so many different but healthy eating palates.
