Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Rafael

Fast food let's keep that in mind as I go on. As far as fast food goes it really is one of the better menu's offered. Not by calorical count or nutritional stand point. By good old fashion taste so why the 3 stars?? Everytime I go to that Jack in the box the service is slow and that seem to mess up the order. Seriously when you order a combo meal how hard do you have to try to screw it up?? If you do drive thru, you have to have them read back your order, confirm it when you are at the window before giving them your money. Confirm you got your complete order, and check for straws,napkins and any sauce that comes with your food. I hate feeling like I have to explain to an adult how to do their job, and it pains me to see that I did a better job at a competitors drive thru at the age of 16. Why??? Because I actually cared about doing my job and not feeling that I was not paid enough. At 3.35/hour back than it was not enough money and when is minimal wage ever enough?? Last issue realizing minimum wage takes special individuals to work for it, it seems that a prerequisite for being on a speaker phone in the drive thru that the equipment must be from the Nixon administration era and English is not your first language or if it is, then mastering the verbal part of it was not a priority. As well as manners, when I am ordering stop interrupting me, I will let you know when I believe I am done ordering. If you ask me " "anything else" as I am trying to do just that on a bad day getting pulled out of the glass box might be in someone's future. Jack in the Box is a wonderful spot. Its open 24 hours. This is the only one in miran. They have a very reasonable value menu and it's around the old school prices/food ratio so this is my new favorite place to eat. They have an all day breakfasts menus and a Wonderful Dessert menu. The only negative would be the drive through line and access to the front of the restaurant. The dining room area isn't so big probly 20 people Max. The drive through has a weird entrance from the street which is good but it's a weird S shape so you can only get probly maximum 3 to 4 cars in the drive-through. If you show up at night expect to have at least 15 cars in the drive through area and around it because they can't fit and each car takes about 5 to 7 minutes to order. Sometimes longer wait lines but definitely worth the wait for fresh food. There is plenty of parking if you go in but, like all fast food, drive through gets most priority. If you go I recommend the tacos, the churros, the sourdough Jack and any of the breakfast items. The classic double Bacon cheeseburger. ...

I wasn’t going to put up a review because the first time this happened I thought it was a genuine mistake. Almost months later I’ve run into the same issue. Months ago I ordered a chicken sandwich and drove home to find that there is no patty. Once again, tonight my friend made an order and once again he was given a sandwich with no patty. He paid full price (as did I) and we did not receive what we paid for. We went through the drive through and tried to get a new sandwich with a patty and were refused service by whoever was on duty at 12/20 1:45 AM. She refused to provide us a manager or her name and my friend and I were not provided the food we paid for. I’m writing this review because this is no longer a one time occurrence. I never write reviews but it is unfair that we pay full price for a product we did not receive and that our requests as customers were not even acknowledged. I have not had an issue with any Jack in the Box but this one. I would caution those who have experienced similar situations to stay away from this...
