Gerstle Park — Attraction in San Rafael

Super cute little park. 2 play areas; one for smaller kiddos like 5 yrs and under and another for older kids. Plus a tire swing!! A little grass patch to play a little soccer (which there was a family doing just that!), a basketball court with 2 hoops. And 2 separate pinic table areas you can reserve or just hang out at! Wonderful little park with playgrounds, a basketball court bbq’s, etc. in a quiet corner of San Rafael. Used to belong to the Gerstle family who had a mansion, orchard and exotic trees on the beautiful grounds… some remnants still remain. We attended a kid’s birthday party. The reserved location was near the entrance, playground, basketball courts, and restroom. It had some shade. It was great for kids but required a lot of monitoring by parents.
