Proof Lab Skate Shop — Local services in San Rafael

So, as we all know, Proof Lab has been one of the skateshops that hold in-store raffles for SBs. This past weekend, they were conducting a raffle for the Verdys. I decided to go and sign up for them. When I walked into the store to sign up, the guy (worker) gave me a raffle ticket. As I was writing my information for the raffle ticket, he was right next to me on his phone, which I didn't think anything of. But then I saw that he had a message with multiple names, phone numbers, and shoe sizes. He was using that info to add those people into the raffle. I don't think this looks good for them since they supposedly swear they hold "fair raffles." One of the rules is that people have to go into the store to sign up, not send a text over to the workers to sign up for them. Who knows, maybe that's how they backdoor...

Beware of this place. I called in advance on multiple days in mid-December to verify if they were going to be selling the eBay SB Dunk. An employee said it would be first come, first serve on Saturday morning, 17 December. I show up on Saturday morning and an employee says that all were sold the afternoon before with no explanation or apologies. There are also rumors floating around that employees are backdooring hard to find SB Dunks, offloading to local resellers and online to make a personal profit. Recommend the owner tighten up inventory control, employee oversight and more ethical business practices before you consider supporting...

If u want to win FCFS on the dunks u gotta be there at 1 am cos other cats will be there. And they will let all their friends cut in line. Keep in mind each shop gets less than 20 pairs so. If ur not like #10 in line u have no chance becuz of the resellers and cats with friends. If u want to stop the cutting u gotta handle it with violence cos all those foos are definitely willing...
