Ranch Water — Restaurant in San Rafael

This new spot has taken San Rafael by storm. With incredible staff and an original twist on a country style bar, Ranch Water is the first and last stop whenever I go out (solo or with friends). Super reasonable, incredible (often local) live music that always draws a great crowd, mixed with great cocktails/mixologists, is ALWAYS a recipe for success. Ranch Water is THE place to check out when in Marin, and especially if you are in San Rafael. Like so many locals, you most likely with fall in love with this charming little gem too! We're so happy to have Ranch Water reinvigorate this space. They've created a comfortable, clean, friendly neighborhood hangout. Excellent tequila selection (I was introduced to two new labels that were both so smooth and tasty), beer and full bar. We hosted our staff holiday party here last week and everyone had a great time. Just what San Rafael needed, Ranch Water is a friendly neighborhood bar with live music and more. The staff is attentive, and the house cocktails are a medley of excellence.

It offers a lively atmosphere, making it a great place to bring a date or friends. You may also catch one of the owners, Duncan, a former bartender/program manager at Palm House, on site.
