I used to go to your restaurant years ago(pretty much every Tues eve with a friend & it was kind of "date night" for us as her husband doesn't like to go out, but my guess is that he still picks up dinner for her from you quite often. I have always found your food to be consistent in quality & the 2 people I brought with me yesterday were happy with their choices & both said that they would come back...one of the two people who were with me yesterday is in Senior housing (Nazareth House) over by Terra Linda Safeway & in terms of places that are close she had only known about "The Four Points" & now she can tell people who come to visit her about your Restaurant. P.S. I've made Arancini with people from Italy & Scilly...it was always my pleasure to help over the holidays with them but I was disappointed with yours mainly because I was taught that they should have more Mozzarella in them & peas more cooked. I still enjoyed them but the one I took home I added more cheese to but only had Parmesan. But overall it's nice to see that you still have tender veal,...

You've got to check out this little Hidden Gem. For anybody who has lived in the Marin area, you've probably tried this place and kept it to yourself. From the outside, it is very unassuming. You might even pass it up, but don't. This little Italian star is a must stop place. The authentic Italian cuisine and ample Wine Bar match the elegant decor within. Our server was an older Italian gentleman. He is quiet, direct, and efficient. He made sure we were well taken care of despite how busy things were and never made us feel rushed. My guest and I shared one of the best Caesar salads I have had in a long time. I then had the Tortellini Toscana (Veal & Prosciutto) prosciutto, peas, and cream. Divine! I love the taste of fresh made tortellini. My guest had the lasagna and was impressed with the flavor and texture. Lunchtime is busy, so be prepared. The best part of all is the price. $20 to 35 pp without alcohol. I can't wait to go back and sample many of the other dishes. I promise to get pictures this...

For some reason the hostess tried to have my friend and I seated at a very small table that looked like it had not been cleaned well , even though we had a reservation and there were nicer tables with outdoor heaters on the other side , so I asked the waiter if we could move and he allowed it. Poor move on the hostess part (or whoever that woman was) they allowed a single person to have a four seater table but wanted us to sit in a corner. I don’t think so. Other than that thoughtless move on her part, the rest of the visit was awesome. The waiter was very nice as well as the gentleman who brought us our drinks . Fritto misto appetizer was EXCELLENT the bruschetta was good as well. We also had the pasta Carbonara. Beef short ribs and adult beverages (yummy) Since we had quite a few menu items I feel confident recommending this restaurant! Once you get past the female that doesn’t know how to seat people with reservations properly, it’s a really...

It's not fair to rate a restaurant for its cocktails, but La Toscana's Rusty Blade Negroni is that kind of cocktail. So, to be fairer, it also has great appetizers. And if I was ever to leave the bar area, I'm sure La Toscana's entrees would be great as well. But back to the Negroni. La Toscana uses the Rusty Blade gin from the local (Belmont, CA) Old World Sprits distillery. A most unusual gin, it is barrel aged which gives it a caramel color (rusty). That makes the gin's spices (botanicals) taste as if they have been baked, according to one reviewer. Get the Negroni shaken and served with no ice (up, as it is called cocktail parlance) to enjoy it to the fullest. Note to myself: Bring a designated driver so I can have a second Negroni with dinner.

This place is very popular with regulars. There is a tiny parking lot adjacent but it was completely full. We had to park about 2 blocks away on a dimly lit street. This is not a good neighborhood and it was a bit scary. The atmosphere was nice but the noise was so loud you could not speak without yelling. We were there on a Friday night. Reservations were for 6:30pm and we were seated at 7:05pm. Our waiter was great but there was lack of back up service like bringing us water or drinks. We ordered the special which was Salman over Lemon Risotto and Arugula salad on top. The flavors were wonderful but the Risotto was room temperature. This was my first experience here and I have mixed feelings. I would definitely go back and try it again!

Utterly ordinary food at premium prices. We were excited by the prior reviews but it’s just didn’t pan out. The waiter didn’t seem to know much about the menu, just saying everything is good and not really able to explain anything. It kind of dashed our hopes of finding their go-to or quintessential Italian dish. We sent back our drinks a couple times before it became clear that the bartender wasn’t really one. The lamb, streak and antipasto were as plain and every day as mall Italian. We were really disappointed we it’s Kobe that definitely was not and the under seasoned land. The tiramisu was the saving grace we were told it would be. Definitely real ingredients, really made. Well, you win some and...
