Marin Center Showcase Theater — Attraction in San Rafael

For something uniquely different on a New Year's Eve in Marin County, this this was a welcomed event. I felt right at home amongst the rest of the very waspy white middle-aged Marin people while we were picked apart by the various Comics up on stage. We were that audience everybody either hate or love to pick on! I was somewhat disappointed by the four comedians whose Acts were the same subject matter, relating to family relationships, dating, and the worn down racist humor that didn't seem so humor is somehow. The MC however, was the ultimate in funny. If I could have had more of him and less if the others that would have made for a much better evening. The auditorium is small and for that, I was appreciative for what felt like an intimate Marin evening amongst very friendly Neighbors....
