We used to eat here almost weekly when my son (20+ yrs ago) was in school then our schedule changed. We drove by and remembered how delightful our dinners were and ordered take away. It was better than we recalled! My husband and I shared their hot and sour seafood soup. It is packaged in three parts so everything is fresh when you’re ready to eat. My husband had the fried chicken and I had fresh rolls. We have enough for a couple more dinners—the portions are generous and everything is so fresh. Being able to heat and assemble the soup is a great help—we can tailor our bowls to our preferences and each bowl is as fresh as when we brought it home. Service is polite and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to start up our...

I understand this establishment is under new ownership. I hadn't been to Saigon Village for quite a long time, and was in the mood for something spicy, so my girlfriend and myself decided to dine there for lunch. I tried a dish called Hot and Sour Soup with the usual noodles, sprouts and jalapeno, and it was out of this world good. It was absolutely delicious, plentiful and hit the spot.I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will come back again for the same dish. The restaurant is clean, the wait staff is very pleasant and quick. The place is very clean. It's small, but the food is absolutely delicious, and it won't break the bank to dine there.I highly recommend...

I ordered a beef pho over the phone and got there about 30 minutes later to pick it up. My food was ready and well packaged with the appropriate ingredients separated into individual containers so they didn't over cook or become soggy. As a restaurateur I know how much the containers cost so I really appreciate them spending the extra time and money to do things right and not just slop it all into a big plastic bowl. The broth was rich and had hints of star anise as a traditional beef pho should. The accoutrement was all fresh and plentiful. After avoiding this place for a few years I've learned to not judge a restaurant...

I had egg roll and pho. The veg with egg roll is really dirty; a dead fly is clearly visible (see the pic i uploaded). Pho has no taste; barely find any meat. We all know pho needs to be with real chicken or beef broth. I bet this place just uses water with some seasonings. Service is lousy. Update: Just tried pho at La Maison De La Reine. Saigon Village is better than La Maison De La Reine. Try to avoid these two altogether.

I don’t work or live in San Rafael anymore but when I return and want Vietnamese food, this is the place! I was amazed how much they have done with their back patio. So much shade and the Koi pond. I love the egg noodle soup and the Vietnamese shrimp crêpe. They have updated their menu with sandwiches and other tasty items. Parking everywhere including in back next to the shaded patio.
