Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Queen Creek, AZ — Restaurant in San Tan Valley

Yikes! My mom and I were excited to try a new place, but our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when we first saw her sandwich - the French dip, literally only had 2.5 pieces of meat on it and was smaller than the size of her hand! I went up to the counter to ask if typical or could we get more…was quickly and plainly told “our standard is 2.5 ounces” and that was it.

Then, when my mom went to try it…the meat tasted bad. I then opened my sandwich - Mrs. pickle…smaller than anticipated. I took my first bite and had to, sadly, spit it out…I thought oh maybe an old pickle or something, so I took another bite….yikes! The sauce or some component of my baby sized sandwich was sour or old!? I walked up to the counter to ask for refund as they tasted old and looked very different than pictures on menu…the 2.5 ounce girl awkwardly looked at her co worker and pointed at us motioning for her to deal with us! She had a line in front of her, so fair.

I told the new person our food was bad and said we needed a refund as my lunch time was limited. After two ladies worked on it, I will say they were kind enough to refund the sandwiches only not the entire bill. And, I do want to say it seemed like they didn’t buy our concerns about the product being spoiled, but we gave them the info just the same.

A one and done for us…thanks for at least giving the refund. I’ll stick with subway or Jersey Mikes from now on…better customer service, better quality food, and all around...

AVOID this place. I had the worst Reuben I’ve ever had tonight. $15 offer tax and the sandwich didn’t have much meet or kraut on it and no thousand island dressing. The bread was dry. When I unwrapped it, it was steaming like it came out of the microwave. I even tipped before hand! Also, maybe pay your employees a fair wage, livable wage instead asking us to supplement their income when we are already paying $15 for a sandwich. It was an hour before close and the employees seemed more focused on closing than anything else. This was my third time here. First time wasn’t good, but I don’t like making these kind of reviews. Second time was decent. This time was atrocious. I did some digging through the reviews and it seems they don’t care about making things right after a bad experience. It seems like it’s always a copy and paste answer from them. There are tons of places to eat! Don’t waste your money...

So here is the deal. I have ordered now 3 times from Mr. pickels on Coombs rd. EVERY single order has been wrong. How hard is it to make a sandwich? 1 st time forgot my chips? 2nd time, no bacon or avacado on the sandwich that is SUPPOSED to have it? 3rd time wrong bread no avacado. When I called to speak to someone, I found out why my order is always wrong. YOUR manager working at 6pm 3/8 was rude and refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Freakin 17 dollars for a sandwhich, and you can't even do that correctly? Loved your food as I have eaten it from other locations for a long time, but my family and I are DONE with Mr Pickles due to YOUR manager who clearly has zero care for your guests. Do better.. I'll take my money for a sandwich elsewhere like Jersey Mike's, at leaset they don't mess up my...
