I’ve lived in Sand Springs for 5 years and never tried this place until tonight. I love a Canadian bacon pizza, so I decided to try the 10” Hawaiian. Ordered online to take home after work. I really want to like this place as it is a local establishment, but nothing was memorable, at least not in a good way. 6 slices of ultra-thin cracker crust, sweet and oregano heavy sauce, sparse cheese, and an average amount of pineapple, bacon, and Canadian bacon. I wish the Canadian bacon was cut into smaller pieces as I took my first bite and couldn’t get it to cut, so all the toppings came off together. Walking into the restaurant I received a friendly greeting from a waiter and the cashier. The space has lots of seating for big groups, but I don’t know how anyone can read the menu as hardly any lights are on the dining area. I’m thankful I took my food home. It was just me eating, so I ate half of it on the way home (10 minute drive). Glad I did, as the other half was stone cold by the time I got to my dining table and it’s about 80 degrees today. I assume it’s because the crust is so thin. Nothing amazing about the experience, though it filled me up. The online ordering was easy through Toast and they got my order correct. Probably won’t return because of the pricing though. It’s about $17 for this pizza (including tax and it’s difficult to turn off the tip for online ordering). Lots of local folks must like it, as they have been around 55 years. It’s just not my cup of tea.

Minutemen Pizza Parlor: A Sand Springs Gem Worth the Drive I recently checked out Minutemen Pizza Parlor, a spot highly recommended by a local influencer whose taste I trust. Tucked away in an older strip mall, it has that charming "hole-in-the-wall" vibe I love. While the interior was a bit dim and lacked music or games, the incredible staff gave some of the best pizza service I've ever experienced. We started with delicious dinner salads with ranch, then got into a large pizza, half Hawaiian and half Supreme. The toppings were very fresh, and the sauce had a fantastic herb flavor. The crust is cracker thin, so I easily devoured over half the large pie without feeling like I ate too much. Even though it's a 20-30 minute drive from my side of Tulsa, making it a rare treat, I absolutely recommend checking out Minutemen Pizza Parlor. It was truly excellent.

Ordered a triple play, paid $28.00 for a large (10 slices.) and added mushrooms ($2.50 to add toppings). Got 12 mushrooms on the pizza. (I was able to count them since they were sitting right on top) I called and spoke to a manager (Travis) to express my concerns. He told me he was fine with that. I told him I thought that was ridiculous. I told him I was a first time customer and with his attitude, I would not be back. He told me "Please, don't come back". Very horrible experience. Then I posted this very same thing to their Facebook page, the owner "Travis" deleted my post, turned off public posts, comments and blocked me so I couldn't message him directly.

Last Friday a friend and I decided to try out Minuteman Pizza. We arrived a few minutes after 1pm and noticed the door said it closes at 1:30. I debated going in but assumed if we were too late to order a pizza and eat by 1:30 that someone would tell us they weren’t taking new orders. Our waitress was friendly and we ordered our pizza and cheese bread with no problems. The bread arrived while we were waiting and we each ate a slice. Pizza arrived next and we each got a slice and were in the middle of eating our first slice when the waitress came over with a box and boxed up our cheese bread and all the rest of our pizza!!! She also cleared my friend's plate and would have cleared mine too if my pizza wasn't sitting on it right at that moment. We left with our pizza and had errands to run and by the time we made it home with our pizza it was soggy and not sure if it was safe to eat after sitting in the car all day so we threw it away. What a waste of $28. Contacted the business BEFORE leaving this review and all the owner said was " Thanks for letting us know. We have been having problems with a waitress". Not even an apology ! I can see where the waitress learned her rudeness from. You won't have to worry about my family ever spending another...

Whatever me and my dad showed up for my dad's 30th High School reunion, we were some of the first few there we also had my kids with me 3 and 7 are their ages we switch sides to have a family dinner verses with my dad's reunion. It took an hour and a half to get a pizza when we thought that they were being nice by offering salad bar no they charged us for the salad bar that we didn't really want and my kids did not eat when we finally got the pizza it wasn't even the right pizza but we ate it anyways because we were trying to get out of there before our movie. I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to to be able to write a review the guy behind the counter that was making the pizza I believe his name was Larry or something like that was so rude to us that I couldn't believe he even work there. All the other times that I have been to this establishment the service has been okay but not great I would never eat at Minuteman Pizza unless it was an event or someone else insisted on meeting there it's overpriced and it's not that great. Maybe they should work on their people skills...
