Heart Bowls — Restaurant in Sandpoint

I love this place. I have been a regular visitor since their truck was parked on the corner of Boyer! Their smoothie bowls and rice bowls are in my top 3 most craveable foods in Sandpoint. My favorite treat after a long week is a PB&J bowl with extra PB and coconut chia pudding; decadent and absolutely delicious without the guilt! Both of their rice bowls (the Hawaiian Asian Fusion and Southwestern) are filling and have fantastic flavors. HB's is great for little ones too. My little's favorite is the Chunky Monkey waffle (wonderfully gluten free!), but they are always hovering around me for a several bites of my PB&J bowl.

They offer three sizes in the smoothie bowls which is really nice. The 16oz is a perfect size for me personally, but you can get larger sizes for bigger appetites!

They are moving into a café on the corner of 4th in the old Ivano's building soon and I'm so glad to see them thriving. They are definitely a gem here...

I drove 120 miles to meet with my dear friend in Sandpoint. She recommended Heart Bowls. Although the patio is beautiful, it was too early in spring to eat outside. We went inside and ordered avocado toast and I had a latte. Everything tasted very nice…but a few minutes into our visit, there started a horrendous noise from the kitchen area. It sounded as if someone was running a circular saw or router. Maybe they were remodeling something? Construction projects could be scheduled for after they close in the afternoon. The noise was so loud and obviously annoying that we had to stop visiting during the racket. It was like trying to eat in a functioning saw mill. I don’t know what was going on, but it was a ridiculous amount of noise to subject customers to, people who are there to eat a healthy meal and try visit with a friend. A slice of Paradise! Out of everywhere I've reviewed(a lot) this is the only one that deserves more then a 5/5 + ITS HEALTHY. I was vacationing here so I doubt the girl will remember the guy who asked if they have any raw vegan options, to my amazement half the menu was. The mom daughter duo were phoenomonally friendly, the fruit bowl Pina colada literally the best thing I've ever tasted. The whole experience was spectacular, they even are plastic free, AMAZING! Im getting into business and I want to see more like this place, people will invest! Heck Id invest! It felt so natural and small and customer friendly, the patio chairs and tables, the calm atmosphere, at night with a small party and some pretty lights 🌃 were talking the best of the best here.
