The Mango Tree- Sandpoint — Restaurant in Sandpoint

My husband loves Indian food and this is his new favorite restaurant! The patio with outdoor seating is beautiful! A little noisy due to traffic, but not too bad the evening we went. We LOVED the food and how our server was so good at explaining the spiciness or heat levels, assuring us that their range goes from NO HEAT on up. Everything we ordered fell on the scale exactly where he described it (including the "no heat" menu item). The food is all chef prepared and so delicious! We've tried the chicken coconut curry, the butter chicken and the tika masala. We also tried a specialty mushroom rice, which was very good paired with the curry. The upgrade to garlic naan is well worth it!! I went for lunch with some people I work with and we all loved it as well! One said it was her new favorite restaurant! I discovered their daily lunch specials (and daily dinner specials), which are a great option when you want to try a couple of entrees. They are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Mango Tree! Definitely a wonderful addition to the restaurant scene...

My husband and I were in Sandpoint and hungry. I was looking online for a decent restaurant, and landed on The Mango Tree. I'm so glad that I did. Dave was our server. He made our visit fabulous. He gave his opinion on different meals, after me asking about different foods. He was running inside and outside, which was were we sat. The food is wonderful. My husband had the steak, and I had the beef curry. The butter sauce that came with my husband's steak...I can't even describe the way it tasted, other than saying that I asked for some for myself. My curry was buttery and melted in my mouth. I also got the mango rice....and got some to take home. It was something that makes me want to go there once a week. I tried to put in a pickup order from Mango Trees website. It was accidentally for the wrong location so I called that location within a minute of the order being placed and explained. They said they couldn't cancel it, do it through doordash. I told them it was their website not doordash (they use toast) and going to cancel there told me to call the store. They rudely proceed to tell me to cancel it online and hang up... They charged me (including the tip). Absolutely terrible customer service and they don't even understand how their business is set up. $60 for 3 items I never got, I guess there is a last time...
