Honestly the only star is for the manager, Vic, who saved me from flipping a table and throwing a philly cheese steak across the restaurant . Everything was OK until my friend and I got our checks and gave our debit cards to pay. The waitress came back and gave my friend her card and receipt and looked at me and said my card got denied. I looked at her and said do it again I have money, I'm not going to come to Cedar Point broke. She got her "manager" who was a whole different story. After I showed her my online banking app and how the transaction went through TWICE she looked at me and said "well we didn't receive the money, do we need to call the police?" Shocked, I looked at my friend and then her and said why?? She said well if you can't pay for the meal we need to call the police. I could not believe she immediately jumped to that instead of trying to tell me to get cash out or have my friend pay. I started to get EXTREMELY angry for her saying that and told her I would go to an ATM and get money out. Longer story shorter we sat there for 1 hour after she told us to wait there (because another person's card got denied) and I finally was told by a stranger that his card got denied too, and he pointed me to the closest ATM. After frantically calling my mom during this ordiel (yes I'm 21 years old but she helps me stay sane) I spoke to Vic who she called and he ended up reimbursing my meal as well as my friend's for the inconvenience. Vic later called my mom and apologized again about the problem and told her today was the wicked...
Read moreBefore I leave a review I just want people to understand restaurant etiquette. And that working at a restaurant like this would be extremely taxing ESPECIALLY if you're understaffed.
The pepperoni pizza was really good for me and my family and we all enjoyed the extra sauce on top. If you don't like saucy pizza just request that they don't put sauce on the pizza.
The lobster philly steak I was told was way too good to be true. Super cheesy.
We had to get two orders of chicken wings because it was just too good. That was the dry rub because we're not a big fan of buffalo.
Also had the bacon bleu burger and that was still uber good despite the full tummy.
Crab fries were great and that sauce that came with it was the cherry on top.
Had a couple alcoholic beverages and they were great but you would of had to been trash to mess that up.
Bill was $100 but if you want to eat cheap just grab a pizza or two and you can eat good for $20-$40. Really good food and Ohio State was playing and it just made the atmosphere glow. Perfect place to go in my opinion. You'll probably end up going just off the smells you get...
Read moreI donât like to give bad reviews but, Very disappointed. Went here for the first time today. The waitress took us to our seats and started to wipe down the table. My husband tried to help her by getting the second table wiped down due to her having troubles getting around the kids, being nice. We said thank you and she walked away. Then embarrassingly in front of a packed restaurant, the manager came out saying that he threw the towel at the waitress. Which definitely did not happen. We both and our 3 kids in shock told her that nothing even close to that happen and she still stood there and just stared at us. We decided to just get up and leave. For one the table should have been cleaned before we sat down. But didnât mind because we owned a restaurant and know it gets busy and crazy. Just irritated about the...
