Blue Streak at Cedar Point — Attraction in Sandusky

Blue Streak is an absolute classic coaster. There's something about standing in line and imagining this thing back in its hayday, that makes me excited.

Its the oldest coaster in the park dating back to the 1960s. It only tops 40 something mph, and the first and only real drop is pretty small. Its a bit bumpy and jerky, towards the end, especially as you're going over the last few humps.

Wait time is usually around 30-45 which is acceptable for this coaster.

Its a fantastic start up coaster for new riders, and a great warm up coaster to start your day.

I usually hit it immediately as soon as I walk into the park just to get a fast hype to my day started.

So I rode this very recently, and it is definitely one of the worst Rollercoasters I think I've been on. Im giving it a 2 star rating because it does have a few airtime moments that are okay. But it was very rough and I was extremely cramped in the car to where I could barely move my legs, and im only like 5 foot 7 or so. I honestly don't know if the reason of it being so rough was because of the row I was in (last row) but it was so rough that the next day, I realized I had bruises on my leg from hitting it on the uncomfortable lap bar. This ride is rough. Not pleasingly rough, just rough. It’ll rattle your brain, every part of your body, and honestly the only smooth part was the lift hill. The theming wasn’t rly there but ig the color scheme was nice. There really isn’t anything great to say about this ride. I know this ride is much older but i’ve been on rides that are WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY older than this ride and they run smoother than this disappointment. This ride aged horribly and I really hope this park can improve this ride in any way. But until then, I don’t plan on riding this anytime soon.
